This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty, but as always, add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.
The Thrift Store/Bargain Finds List Wayback Machine: The Grand Vizier is maintaining a list of all the weekly lists through time. He is also adding stats and interesting tidbits for us thrifty geeks. Your Thrift Store Bargain Finds Through Time (with links to all previous lists)
Our GeekGuild: Welcome to The Ancient and Loyal Order of Thrifters. Enter the halls of thriftdom at your own risk. Please do mind the stacks of prized games, do not mention the musty smell and try not to sneeze. Make sure to bow before our King Hakfoo I, and pay your due respects to previous Kings Belial, Great_Mazinga, minionhunter, Krazygit, EvilTimmy and Blackwind.

Last one. Buried among two copies of Monopoly Jr and a Mystery Date. Box is unwrapped and a little worn at the corners. Everything inside is still in shrink. $2.99, destined for a Christmas present for my brother-in-law.
Fun game from childhood, plus I really like the cover art so I just bought it without cracking the tape. Turns out to be a bit of a bust -- box is okay, but it's missing a bunch of the pawns/pieces and all the money. And apparently I already own it anyway.
So I will dig out the one I own and check that it has all the pieces, then part this out.
Yesterday I checked out an SA that usually doesn't have anything. They had Break the Safe in excellent condition (I might ditch the insert, though) and the electronics work. Missing the Robot equipment card. I might have a Break the Safe, Omega Virus double-feature night with my son sometime soon.
Fantastic morning of thrifting in the Great Dayton Area. Day started off with this little gem. Box is tape raped but everything was included upon inventory so at .99 the box's condition can be somewhat forgiven. Valley Thrift.
Never have seen a box more perfectly intact for this game, no dishing, contents all present. Will trade out some bits for my personal copy I use with LNOE zombie mall scenario and gve the rest to a friend after I pimp the box and zombify the girls on the cover. 1.99 GW. Called it a day after this and had some Milano's pizza with the kiddos and wife.
