This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty, but as always, add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.
Our GeekGuild: Welcome to The Ancient and Loyal Order of Thrifters. Enter the halls of thriftdom at your own risk. Please do mind the stacks of prized games, do not mention the musty smell and try not to sneeze. Make sure to bow before our King Hakfoo I, and pay your due respects to previous Kings Belial, Great_Mazinga, minionhunter, Krazygit, EvilTimmy and Blackwind.

Was finishing up preliminary Halloween costume shopping for the kids when saw this sitting in the showcase. Figured that because it looked old it would be unreasonably priced. To my surprise was usual game price. ARC $2.99 box a bit tatty and missing 1 blue counter - but that's why they had spares included.
Box is in decent shape but quite a bit of surface wear. Inside... 2 unpunched boards and cards and bits still in shrink!! It seems one board was punched so I bagged those bits. It's complete and unplayed! And apparently not that common.
Found this a couple days ago at GW for $2.99. I don't need another Travel Scrabble game, but I couldn't pass up the little wood tiles. The travel version that I currently have has plastic ones. This is complete. Are these smaller tiles desirable to the crafters?
Probably NOT the game pictured. I browsed through several games but did not find a match. Location cards have a map on the back, other cards (weapons and enemies) have the eye of Sauron. The face of the cards have a dark blue border.
Any help identifying these is greatly appreciated.
Found another one of these at Red Racks for $1.48. I didn't take time to inventory as it seemed near complete and I only needed it to complete another one. I got it home and after checking found that it is complete! Except for the pawns Oh well, I have those from the other game so I guess that this one is now complete and that one is the parts copy. Do these ever come with the rules?
