Just Try and NOT Thumb This GeekList! (A GG Contest)

What is it? Am I not witty enough? Is my sense of humour only something that should be shared between me and myself? Am I somehow unable to transfer a personal profundity of thought into a crisp type-bite? I'll admit: the answer to all these questions is "yes."
Some little contests go on here and there offering some GeekGold for wit, humour, and insight. I don't have any of it. So here's a contest:
Create a Board Game entry on this GeekList and attach a comment to it. But this comment must be vapid, completely empty, devoid of worth and value. It must not offer any insight or relevancy to the Board Game at hand. It must not serve any purpose. It must be so limp in its putridity that what seems offensive really offends no one. It is the proverbial polar bear in the snowstorm. It is breathtaking emptiness.
What will you win? For starters you will earn 5 GeekGold. I can't offer any more than that at this point. I don't submit enough GG-earners to garner more than that and I cannot offer that which I do not have. But I'll also share with you HALF of whatever GG this GeekList will make. Warning: be prepared for disappointment.
Most importantly, HOW do you win? Simple: Your comment must earn the LEAST number of thumbs by the end of the week (October 7th, 2012, night-time). Players tied for the least thumbs will
split the winningshave the winner decided between them by myself, who will choose the comment that I felt was the most successful in communicating the least regard for intelligent thought. To counter last-second entries which only earned the least thumbs because of time and not from sheer inanity will be discounted at my ambiguous sense of discretion.
Make sure to thumb those comments that HAVE relevancy, if only even just a thread of it. That way they won't get any stinky Geek Gold for not trying their worst.
Good luck! Bad luck! Bah, whatever...
Edit: As there might be quite a few ties (Hey! Zero is a number too!) I've decided to award the booty to only one person. That way, I won't have to give .13 GG to 23 people, or whatever the math would be, which that certainly wasn't.
The contest officially closed at 11:59pm on Wednesday, October 3rd. I had to set a secret date of closing to ensure people wouldn't rush the GL at the last minute hoping to get the least thumbs. It also takes into account that the people who posted within the first three days most likely would get more thumbs due to exposure and yet, there was one clear winner who was able to starve off the thumbing even though they submitted their entry relatively early.

Jake dumbfounded us with his comment (#174) on Yahtzee: "Gort! Bolinga..."
Though TrentonTon tried his best to prove relevancy by stating these fake words were akin to the fake fun times people have when playing Yahtzee, it was not to be. Jake only racked up an amazing 9 thumbs (while surrounding entries were still getting into the high teens and 20s.) Very impressive! Your idiocy has shocked us all and may these few tuppence of GG put you in the right direction. Jake is taking away a staggering 20.65 - much more than I thought the winner would ever get.
An edit from Jake:Quote:Cleaning out my files and still had GL from the contest in October. My answer was referred to as 'fake words'. True, they are the last two words spoken by the alien in the original "The Day the World Stood Still". The three other words he tells the women to speak to Gort are the famous ones (Klatu. Barrada. Nikto.) but not the last ones he speaks. Just FYI in case you did not already know that. Thanks again!!! JWA
An extra shiny goes tocarter(tcarter)
whose ability to bring a unified relevance to cats, watermelon and King of Tokyo by posting a delightful cat picture garnered an impressive number of thumbs. You go, girl!
Thanks to all who kept me thoroughly chuckling this whole week. Your involvement with this GeekList has been impressive. Thanks especially to those who continued to submit after the contest was long over; although, you didn't know the contest was over, but I still think you would have continued to submit regardless. Am I right?
