I like games with Development Tracks/Boards.
I like to have a sense of growth while I'm playing a game.
I like humble begginging and epic endings.
I like to have a visual representation that I am definitely not at the same level that I was in the begining of the game.meeple

Anyone know of anymore?

I'm looking for games that I will eventually play so preferably you'd suggest a game that you personally enjoy.

meeplemeeplemeeple

Please submit a picture of the development board (if you can) along with your opinions of the game you suggest.

Thanks, all!

There are two tracks to develop:
- your builder team
- stone resource / food bonus (less malus)

It's a great worker placement game iho.

I really like this game (maybe because of the countless hours playing starcraft when I was a kid).

Each player/faction has it owns development board, and there are three different races so actually quite a bit of variety with different units and such.

Each player start the game with only being able to build one kind of unit, as the game progresses they may choose to upgrade with buildings on the development board that let you build different types of units.
You can also upgrade with modules (one module can for example let you build one more unit per build action).

Sadly this game is OOP, and you have to like agressive games.

In this game you start with a random captain and chose between two possible starting ships. As the game progresses you buy better ships and you can also buy uppgrades for your ship.

Perhaps THE grandaddy of them all:

The above track is found later in Goa and Endeavor.

In this unique auction game, players develop several aspects of their sheik on this development board: palace size on the bottom, camel flock on the right, personal appearance in the center, and spice/income on the left. Most important, and how the victory condition is met, players develop the size of their harem, typically acquiring and arranging their wives beneath the palace portion of the development board.

This one should fit the bill as well.

You're developing your civilization. A decent game of well known designer Martin Wallace.
