This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty, but as always, add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.
The Thrift Store/Bargain Finds List Wayback Machine: The Grand Vizier is maintaining a list of all the weekly lists through time. He is also adding stats and interesting tidbits for us thrifty geeks. Your Thrift Store Bargain Finds Through Time (with links to all previous lists)
Our GeekGuild: Welcome to The Ancient and Loyal Order of Thrifters. Enter the halls of thriftdom at your own risk. Please do mind the stacks of prized games, do not mention the musty smell and try not to sneeze. Make sure to bow before our King Hakfoo I, and pay your due respects to previous Kings Belial, Great_Mazinga, minionhunter, Krazygit, EvilTimmy and Blackwind.

LAST WEEK to join The 2012 Thrifty Santa Exchange!
74 Thrifters hear those sleigh bells jingling, ring-ting tingling, too. Come on! It's lovely weather for a Thrifty Santa together with you!
1978 AH grey box edition. It appears to have never been played - shiny and I think complete. Except for a weird thing with the stock certificates. There's no inventory for this edition, and when I count I get 25 certificates for six of the hotels, but a whopping 28 for Worldwide. Weird, eh?
Anyone know if this is as intended? I believe the earlier blue box editions had 25 certificates per chain.
Anyways, first time finding this edition. Three ninety-nine at GW.
In addition found 4 loose transformers and 8 bags of action figures. I feel like an archaeologist when I buy these. I get them for the transformers and superhero figures, but then spend way too much time trying to ID all the others to sell.
Seeing the listing up the page reminded me I picked up one of these - Fire and Ice edition for $.99. Couple of split corners, no rules and missing one piece - but there is an extra blank in each color, so all will be good.
