This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty, but as always, add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.

Our GeekGuild: Welcome to The Ancient and Loyal Order of Thrifters. Enter the halls of thriftdom at your own risk. Please do mind the stacks of prized games, do not mention the musty smell and try not to sneeze. Make sure to bow before our King Hakfoo I, and pay your due respects to previous Kings Belial, Great_Mazinga, minionhunter, Krazygit, EvilTimmy and Blackwind.

And an Educational Insights Blokus. The previous owner wrote numbers in the squares on the board, but that should clean off. A quick count of the pieces says that I'm missing 3, so I'll have to figure out which 3 and post to the new parts list. Also $1.99.
Finally! Can cross TTR off the list. I have this so this is perfect trade fodder or possible sell. Box in amazing condition, minor shelf corner wear. FDO uses the WORST tape, so hopefully I can remove it with no damage. Contents looks complete -- cards are crisp, I saw a couple of bend due to poor card placement but overall it looks amazing. Will inventory later but I have a complete set of the mini-cards as well many many TTR trains to complete it if this is missing anything; however my set of mini cards have been used somewhat frequently.
Edit: Complete and tape free damage! Minus the 3 cards slightly bent this is basically new
Subbuteo is an auto-thrift for me. Picked up the version shown here. Brand-new, never played. What a great game this is! Played it like crazy when I was a teenager, and now I dream of having an opponent to play with. $6.29 at Value Village (convinced them to take 30% off).
This one doesn't have the greatest rating, but I am a sucker for pirate games. Furthermore, when I found that it was complete, I was powerless to resist. This one pops up from time to time on the thrifting lists, but it's the first time I've seen it. $3.99 at ValVil.
I hadn't been in the nearby Savers in 3 or 4 months. After years of great finds, the past two years have been slim at best. Add that they moved the boardgame area three times over the past two years and that pricing on games had escalated from .99, 1.99 and 2.99 to 2.99, 3.99, 4.99 and more, and that inventory was greatly reduced from it's former levels, I didn't see the point of going by there much of late. However, we were in the area and, after losing a lot of weight looking for pants that fit (even as I lose more weight) was high on my list, so we stopped by. The first surprise was an abundance of games once more, and the second surprise was not seeing anything priced above 2.99.
Nice condition and complete. Found at Savers for $0.99
Hadn't come across this game before, but it's a Ravensburger so I wasn't going to leave it behind. Besides, it is in great condition. Checked inventory and it's not only complete, but there are 2 extra playing pieces (the diamonds).
1978 Simon game, with instructions and box. The game itself looks excellent. Now to buy $8 worth of batteries so I can test it (wait, it takes 2 "D" batteries and a 9-volt?!)! $2 at Layton DI, will be headed for the bay.
Also found a brand new Samsung blu-ray player for $35. Pretty cool!
