There are are many games that are released to the public to print out and play. Right now I am not in a position to be able to buy many games so I love the idea of being able to print some new games. I am not talking about games that people have scanned so others can print them. The games I am referring to are the games that people created for gamers to play and enjoy at no cost.

I would appreciate your comments on any of these games you have played.

*I have updated the list to allow public additions. I was able to keep up with all the great new free games being released!

This is the game I designed in a month for the "Print and Play Contest - Design a co-op game and win".

http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/419129/

Its a cooperative (or competitive) game. The players are racing down a highway inside their cars escorting a bus. In front of the bus is a mob of zombies, behind the bus are zombies on motorcycles chasing the players. Inside the bus people people are casting a spell to destroy all of the zombies.

You are starving. You are in the middle of Chinatown and only one restaurant is open. Oh no! The menu is written only in Chinese. You only know 5 Chinese characters, one for each meal type (beef, chicken, lamb, fish and vegetables). For each meal type, you are hesitating between two Chinese characters. You will have to try to order using your very limited knowledge of the language. The waiter, slightly confused, will bring you what he thinks the majority wants. The player who successfully orders the most meals will score the most points and win.
The players will do this by predicting which meal type is the most abundant in a common pile of Meal cards. To help them, they will be able to add Meal cards to the pile. However, the more cards they add to the pile, the less prediction they will be allowed to make. To win, a player will have to balance memory, risk-taking and bluffing.

The game is made of 110 cards.

mbmbmbmbmb
Turn or Burn is a print-and-play game of space fighter combat for 2 to 8 players. To start a game, players design their fighters from a deck of system cards. Each turn, players plot a single action by playing a system or maneuver card facedown. After everyone has played a card, the actions are revealed. Movement is governed by Newtonian mechanics in 2 dimensions. Combat is resolved by pulling cards from a hand made up of the target fighter’s system cards plus a number of “miss” cards based on range and other factors.

A political/strategy game in which five players represent the five major nations in pre-World War I Europe. They must compete against each other to achieve each nation's 'national objectives'. While actual war is not allowed in the game, the play should show quite clearly how tensions developed to such a high pitch in 1914.

mbmbmbmbmb
MythWars: Clash of the Gods is a CCG (customizable / collectable card game) for 2-4 players, aged 12 to adult. Each player controls a group of 4 gods, goddesses, and/or other entities, each with a different ability: some abilities may help their allies, or hinder their enemies; others may grant special attacks, or bring in extra reinforcements. New gods, goddesses, and other entities are revealed as the game progresses, and each one in play gets an attack each round (at least, until they run out of Energy points, at which point they are removed from the game). The winner is the last player with any entities left standing.

The game is being released under a Creative Commons license (BY-NC-SA 3.0), and currently has two Battle Sets available for free as PDFs, featuring 32 gods and goddesses total (8 per page). In the interest of full disclosure, I will note that I am the designer and publisher, and that I do offer the game for sale on the same site, although all of the cards have been (and will continue to be) released as free PDFs.

A little racing game that can be assembled within an hour.

Each player has to move his racer according to the position of his "speed marker" - most preferably without bumping into walls or the other drivers.
Since no track comes along with the game, you'll have to create your own or find some means to have it created!

Dungeon in a Tin is a solo or cooperative dungeon-hack. Players descend into a dungeon randomly laid-out from a stack of tiles, fighting through the orc and goblin hordes to rescue the kidnapped maiden and collect treasure and glory.

This Print-and-Play game was an entry in the 'One Full-sheet Label' design contest here on BGG, and as such the printed components fit entirely on a single label sheet. A small number of other tokens and blank dice will also be required. Additionally, as the name hints, once constructed on cardstock it is possible to fit the game inside an Altoids tin or similar.
