I played this game about 5 times at GenCon. Ted and I played it on Wednesday night a number of times and then on Thursday evening and Friday evening. We collected a few who said this was there favorite game. Then my last day on Sunday I played with Bob. It was a highlight of the CON!

It can take up to eight hours to play, but Ted and I finish a game in a couple of hours. It takes a good while to learn to play to the point where you are finishing 20 turns.

I played this game four times this weekend. Two of the games were tournaments. I am not a a fan of GameBase7. In fact I would discourage anyone from joining their tournaments. They are rather unprofessional. I taught Bang both times I played.

Highlight Bang experience, with Jason K., Michelle, Keith, and Ted

Did you play in the 8am Friday Bang! tournament? You look like the fellow who at range 2 to my right in the game.

That particular tournament was pretty lame. When we arrived Bang! and Dodge City was integrated together and there was nobody from GB7 present to explain the tournament rules. we ended up playing basic Bang! and eventually a GB7 drone showed up after like 15 or 20 minutes to collect tickets. When we asked him how do you "win" in the tournament since more than one person can win a typical Bang! game the guy had no clue, as he had never played before. After the game nobody even came by to see who won, so that they could advance to the next game.

Even though the tournament was ridiculous the two games played were fun, so it was worthwhile at least in that respect.

No, I was not with Looney Labs. You are right the price was way to high for this so called "tournament"!

I played this a four times this weekend. I taught Michelle how to play it, and a group a game of Bang. BUT the true highlight is I met the designer. It was great meeting you Chris Boelinger! I hope to play you again when I am actually a challenge! He was extremely thoughtful in presenting his game.

I also won some swag from Asmodee! Support Asmodee. I think they deserve it.

This is a great, fun game to play at conventions. I really enjoy racing games with large numbers. At a con, you get that 11 person slugfest.

As opposed to GB7, I highly recommend Rogue Judges. They run fun events, know the rules, stay with the game throughout, and are willing to consider changing format if needed. We had 11 people. They originally were only going to allow 10 on a track, but we figured we should just keep everyone on the one track.

My opponents whipped more than I had ever seen. I stayed in last place for the entire first lap when I became frenzied. Turning the corner on my next move I rolled a 9 and moved 17 spaces in that turn. The others saw how my strategy worked. I was in second, when someone leaped into my chariot and wrecked it. Oh well.

It was a good fun.

Played this with a 6 people. It was an enjoyable experience, but the room was not listed on the ticket. This was another GenCon mess up. It would be great to play this game with a larger field.

Played in the Formula de tournament. It was raining so the field was pretty banged up to say the least. It was a great romp. I was in 1st when I finally wrecked.

I had fun playing this with Jason K, Michelle, and Tony (met him in this game). He had I hope a great time with the banter between Jason, Michelle, and myself. We had a lot of laughs. This game is not the most PC.

Demoed this finally. I will have to find the right group to play this with. It is fun, but not the greatest game. The light role-playing is attractive.

This is another hohum Eurogame. They totally ripped off the Pirates from Wizkids. I hope Wizkids got royalties. It has some nice mechanics, but I would not choose to play it. I met to other midwest gamers while playing this game. As usual I forgot names. We had a good time.

Sushi restaurant experience before this game was a highlight of the convention.

Played in the Rogue Judges traditional AH Roborally game. It was great fun. I played with 5 other experienced players. It went very fast. I was taken out by some bad, very bad luck.

Almost forgot. I played this with the designer himself! Ted Torgerson. It is well worth checking out if you are looking for a new CDW with an american theme in the style of Twilight Struggle. I think this game has serious potential. GMT take note.

I had a good time, but will need to figure out how to streamline the experience. I would have like to have played in better tournaments. The Bang tournament was total ripoff. I also did the True Dungeon. A truly enjoyable experience.

Actually, did we finish that game?
