2007 purchases + acquisitions

games i bought/acquired in 2007 i'm expecting there will be less items this year than last year, as last year was my first year getting into this hobby and i was just building up my collection. 2006 purchases + acquisitions (83 items): http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/14825well it's only june and i already surpassed last year's total of 83 items. this was mainly due to the barnes & noble sale which i missed last year, and also because i was hoarding games to give away at the prize table for a little gaming convention that i put on for my friends in the beginning of june.

$2.24 on ebay, $10.63 total with shipping. i think the low winning bid was due to the auction being misspelled as 'colossel arena'. arrived 1/2

not the game, but actual american dollars. i got roborally in a math trade for around the world in 80 days, but the game ended up getting 'lost' in the sender's company's mailroom. sender graciously offered to buy me a new copy or send me the monetary equivalent. sender also got reimbursed for the loss by his company so it all worked out ok in the end. received 1/24
also, back on 1/1 i got a $15 gift certificate to fairplay games for winning the what's it to ya contest: http://www.fairplaygames.com/newworldgames/challenge.htm
now to figure out what to put in my order...

yay i managed to get a copy of roborally after having it get lost previously in a trade (see item 2). got it at barnes & noble's 50% off sale, plus i used a 15% off coupon. the b&n near me didn't have any but another one in manhattan had 1 copy left. purchased on 2/4

I suspect it will take a few years before your purchases start to decrease. Though 83 games is a lot for one year.
