I'm sure you've heard the old standard "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again." Well, that doesn't always apply to the boardgaming hobby or its enthusiasts... To make it resonate more for boardgamers, we need to update this into something a bit more contemporary -- or more likely, throw in a snazzy gaming reference that the bonafide geeksters will appreciate. What do you think?
What twist would you put on this classic axim?
What other mores could use a facelift to be relevant for boardgaming?
Any common expressions like this work their way into your game groups?
