I believe there are some rats in this game (I think I remember a black card called "Plague Rats"). I haven't played in about 10 years.

Oh, there are Swarm of Rats in MTG: There are bog, carrion, chittering, crypt, earsplitting, gobhobbler, hellhole, muck, pestilence, plague, rabid, ravenous, razortooth, relentless, sewer, stronghold and zodiac rats. And of course Rats of Rath, Disease Carriers, Diseased Vermin & Infected Vermin as well. Dirty Wererats scitters along the rest and in Kamigawa block there were Nezumi, japanese flavoured bibedal rat creatures.
