Game of the Month! - Tigris & Euphrates

Games played: Tigris & Euphrates, Bang!, Shogun, Taluva, Betrayal at House on the Hill, Munchkin Bites!, Twilight Imperium 3rd Edition, Princes of Florence, Puerto Rico, Vegas Showdown, Rumis, Settlers of Catan, RoboRally, and a prototype of Ascendancy designed by Nigel Buckle.
Highlights: Start of the Game of the Month! program, playtesting of Ascendancy, and my first game ever of Puerto Rico! |

Game of the Month! - Princes of Florence
(Check out my Game of the Month Review!)
Games played: Princes of Florence, PitchCar, Struggle for Rome, Taluva, Star Wars: Episode 1 - Clash of the Lightsabers, Tumblin-Dice, To Court the King, Amun-Re, China, Pillars of the Earth, Tier auf Tier, For Sale, Mission: Red Planet, Terra Nova, and Tichu .
Highlights: My favorite game was the Game of the Month! I (and several others in the Hypermind Boardgamers) had our first exposure to such classics as El Grande, Tichu, and China. Plus, we witnessed the bliss of pure and innocent monkey love in our first games of Tier auf Tier.

Game of the Month! - Taluva
(Check out my Review of Taluva)
Games played: Taluva, Colosseum, High Society, Industria, Pentago, Terra Nova, Mykerinos, To Court the King, Warrior Knights, Antike, Struggle of Empires, Ca$h 'n Gun$, Notre Dame, Arkadia, Tikal, Liar's Dice, Lord of the Rings - The Duel, Citadels, and Twilight Imperium 3rd Edition .
Highlights: We were able to play several of the new "hot" games such as Notre Dame, Arkadia, and Ca$h 'n Gun$, as well as some really great older games like Antike and Struggle of Empires (which has shot into my top 3 of all time!) Plus, the galaxy was made safe from the deplorable singing of Balemaster Britt! |

Game of the Month! - Citadels

Games played: Citadels, Hive, Arkadia, Settlers of Catan, Tsuro, Taluva, Liar's Dice, Ca$h 'n Gun$, Struggle of Empires, Warrior Knights, Lifeboats, Wings of War - Famous Aces, Citadels: The Dark City Expansion, Mykerinos, Memoir '44, China, Cosmic Encounter, Tigris & Euphrates, Tier auf Tier, Diamant, Shadows over Camelot, Ticket to Ride, Pick Picknic, Pollyanna, Twilight Imperium 3rd Edition, and another playtest of Nigel Buckle's Ascendancy.
Highlights: Well, there were lots of fake comas induced by slow play, we failed to play our Game of the Month! one evening, and we found out that Carol actually exists. Hegemon Alton "the Terrible" was finally dethroned in Twilight Imperium 3rd Edition. And we had our first experiences with eating poop and making sparks. |

Game of the Month! - Ra

Games played: Ra, Twilight Imperium 3rd Edition, On the Underground, Warrior Knights, Tigris & Euphrates, Cartagena, Liar's Dice, Cranium Hoopla, Arkadia, BattleLore, Star Wars Miniatures, Zooloretto, and Wits & Wagers.
Highlights: Princes Leia staged a hold-up in our TI3 game, John headed back to law school, we dabbled with using a couple of party games as fillers and closers (woo-hoo!), Chip's copy of Downfall of Pompeii wins the "Always a Bridesmaid/Jr High Dance Wallflower" award, and Pam revealed that she has a serious gambling problem (losing over 75 chips in the last turn of Wits & Wagers). |

Game of the Month! - The Ticket to Ride series!

Games played: Ticket to Ride, Ticket to Ride: Europe, Ticket to Ride: Märklin Edition, Ticket to Ride: USA 1910, Hansa, Shadows over Camelot, Downfall of Pompeii, BattleLore, Vegas Showdown, Ingenious, Blokus, Omega Virus, Antike, and Cartagena.
Highlights: The end of an era... finally playing the long-ignored Downfall of Pompeii. Plus we had an electronic "blast from the past" with my flea market rescue of Omega Virus. All that, plus overall I tended to be the "King of Suck" all month long. |

Games played: Betrayal at House on the Hill, Gloom, Yspahan, Dragon's Gold, China, Blokus, Nexus Ops, Tier auf Tier, Wits & Wagers, Wicked Witches Way, 1313 Dead End Drive, Taluva, Ra, On the Underground, Unspeakable Words, Red Dragon Inn, Fury of Dracula, Give Me the Brain!, Easter Island and Zombie Fluxx.
Highlights: The unholy (and uncalled for) zombie horde led by Chip the Zombie Lord! Dracula mopping the floor with all sorts of hunters in both Fury of Dracula and Betrayal at House on the Hill. And several threats to our sanity, including lots of ZOMMMMMMBIEEEEES! |

Games played (so far): Arkadia, Easter Island, Lifeboat, Winner's Circle, Zooloretto, Torres, High School Drama!, PitchCar, Guillotine, Kill Doctor Lucky, Zombies!!!,Colossal Arena, Khet: The Laser Game, Ticket to Ride: Switzerland, Settlers of Catan, Shadows over Camelot, Shadows over Camelot: A Company of Knights, Cube Farm, Ra, and Tiki Mountain!.
Highlights: Chip reveals his inner "lovable dork"; a night of murder, mayhem, and terrible car-flicking accidents; intestinal distress and annoying Tiki natives, and finally... the Return of Alton!!! |
