I very much have a somewhat, almost, maybe, technical obsession with the cat kingdom. Four of the fuzzy ones roam my house day to day, terrorizing as best they can and demanding service from my ungrateful self. Bastet bless them all.
I've also portrayed my share of felines in various RPG's, Live Action Events, and of course and of relevance here, board games. Meow! Hiss!
So, for my fellow feline-fanatics (and to horrify those of you who wonder at it all)...a list of games I've found around the geek that let you play a cat (or cat-like figure)
Definitely not all-inclusive, just ones I've heard about and/or played, so feel free to show me what to buy next!
Purrr.

A cat rarely meets a fish it didn't like and devour. Still, I'll have to see if the game of alley cats retrieving fish is up to the experience.

If dice isn't for you with Button Men, then meet the card game of Brawl! Many decks of this non-CCG/TCG game have been published, including the Catfight series with feline characters such as Tanya, who has eschewed the use of fang and claw for her trusty anime hammer.

Fun, fast, and furious. All I ask is that if you teach someone this game, take it slow at first. Else they'll hiss at you and stalk off after you pound them at the lightning speed fans of this game prefer.

The quick and fun game that puts a use to that dice bag filled from Chessex's bin-o-dice.
Several of the characters are of the feline persuasion, including the Nikki (shown here) and Krosp (of Girl Genius fame).
Felines like to beat people up. True!

In the near future, the luxury home will come complete with a C.A.T. (Computer Aided Tabby). These little metal friends roam the house picking up dropped objects and returning them to a control spot.
The C.A.T. though is not alone in vying for the affections of it’s masters, there are Mouseoids present.

Can a cat survive the neighborhood and its own curiousity to get a daily meal before losing all 9 lives? This game looks like one way to find out, and is something I'll have to find now.

At the heart of it all, Clue for the cat fancier. Purrrr. Except in this case, you know what object you (as the cat) really want...now if only those other cats don't know your next pounce target...
But really, does a cat ever dream of just wanting one thing?

Each player starts with one cat and four mice. The mice move around the board using a roll-and move mechanism, trying to get back to their starting place without being caught. The cats can move either forward or backward, and attempt to catch foreign mice by landing on the spot where they sit. These mice are removed from the board and kept by the capturer.

Run home! Run very fast! Jump the fence! Slip, slide, fall, caught by the pound! Go back to start. Repeat.
Not my favorite game, just very frustrating trying to get anywhere, least of all to the finish line.

Ah, welcome honorable ninja, to most honorable Ninja Burger Franchise. Please, accept honorable Ninja Guide To Fast Food Excellence. Read well, or you will explain failure to ancestors. Go now, meet fellow ninja and prepare for first delivery. Do not be late for staff meeting, young one.
In this game, you can be lucky enough to play Neko Otome, the ninja of delivery excellence, because it is against local health codes for felines to work the kitchen. There isn't a wall built that can stop her from most excellent delivery of hot Ninja Burger with extra wasabi.

Each players cats are chased up trees and gather on the branches. The branches are made of puzzle like pieces. When the branches break, the puzzle pieces are taken off.

One of the ultimate examples of a company catering to their audience. Lead a team of Space Pirate Amazon Ninja Catgirls through wild madcap adventures and the inevitable catfights.
Still a good romp of a game, Ninja Burger Lite.

My favorite of the Munchkin franchise, only partly because, well, it has cats!

The feline warriors of this mini-minitures game feature the ability of incredible speed...until and unless they actually pick up any gadget they find. Then they crawl at blinding slowness....
Still, what feline fan can resist scratching the opponents hand-to-claws? And if that doesn't work, toss a grenade.

A fine list of games that have reference to cats in any way (like Cat-opoly), and has a reference to the tiger one as well.
This list is for those games that let you play *as* the cat/feline/etc.
