Besides being a famous magician, Harry Houdini was also a famous contortionist - it is actually how he did a lot of his acts. Well, there are a number of games that require you to do some contortions as well. This list is about those...

Add teh game and how it leads one to do body (or at least part of your body) to do contortions.

Enjoy and try not to get a sore back playing any of these...

Here's the most famous contortion game. Contort your body better than anyone else and you won't fall down...

Here's another - I used to have this until I sold it. A thrift find... A little bit more focused on hip motion...

Twist and turn your body to get the marble through the tube. This was actually the inspiration for the list...

Elefun is more of a catch butterflies blown up by the nose of an elephant. Cute kids dexterity game, but I can't imagine it causing too many contortions...

I don't like to remember this but as painful as it is...I once played a game of Guesstures (that's not the memory silly) where my father-in-law acted out 'nude' or 'naked' or some such word. I can still see him acting like a stripper. The horror!

I've played this and I guess some things you have to act out can cause contortions, but in general most scenarios have you trying to portray something quite ordinary.

Ever tried running round a table with an egg between your knees, another between your cheek and shoulder and one in each elbow?

A game played by pairs, you hold cards between one part of your body and another part of your partner's body.

Cube with colored switch pads on the faces, you hold the cube between two players and then pass it around as others try to do the same. There are, if I recall, three different games that increase in speed and count the number of passes at different levels of difficulty. It's not as easy to play as it may sound, and there's a lot of bumping and jostling for position.

In Kragmortha, when you have a punishing spell cast on you, you often have to hold parts of your body in odd positions to hold cards. arms, legs, head, hands, etc.
