British Football Microbadges - the final pimping

About 6 months ago I created a Geeklist here advertising the fact that there were a number of Microbadges for English/Scottish Premier League Football clubs and soliciting further requests. Eventually, all the badges were bought and a few more got made, so now there were 11 English PL badges and one SPL badge, all with owners. In fact, the English Premier League is by far the best supported league (in terms of Microbadges) on the Geek. This week I have added 4 more EPL and one SPL badge, so in an effort to bring these all to public attention (for the last and final time, I promise), here are is a list of all badges available. If you would like a badge for a team that isn't here (and you have the 15gg), then I will happily do requests or you are welcome to contact me for tips on designing and submitting it yourself. Incidentally, the offer of a free microbadge voucher from the previous list still stands, but given the bestselling badge (LFC) has only sold 7 so far, don't hold your breath for it being awarded.

Liverpool: At the top of the league (at this early stage in the season) and also the equal most owned football team microbadge (7 owners). Let's hear it for Rafa's scouse army.

Chelsea: The special one has cut down on spending so far this season, but many people back the blues for the title again. They are gaining support on the geek with 6 microbadge owners.

Manchester City: Smooth Sven has the blue side of Manchester smiling again, especially since they beat the reds. This is first of the new badges I have designed, so currently no owners.

Manchester United: I know they usually make a poor start to the season but who would have thought of looking for them down here. The better quality of fan prevalent on the Geek ensures there are only 4 owners of this badge.

Wigan Athletic: Escaped relegation, just, last season. Looking to do a little better this time. Owing to their small fan-base I have not submitted a microbadge just yet. Any Latics out there ready to put their GG where their (pie-filled) mouth is?

Aston Villa: Martin o'Neill just can't seem to get the claret and blues firing on all cylinders. Nevertheless I felt it was about time the Villains had a badge of their own. Brand new, no owners.

West Ham: Nobody's favourite second team this season after the scandal and the suspicion surrounding Tevez at the end of last. Should they be languishing in the Championship rather than lording it in the Premiership? Brand new badge, no owners yet, will anyone come forward and admit being a hammer?

Portsmouth: Seem to be running with Bolton's old strategy, mixture of aging warhorses and unknowns to keep them up while they build up the cash. Seems to be working too. No microbadge.

Birmingham City: The highest placed of the promoted teams, and already only 2 places off relegation. Is the competition just too tough for the blues? Microbadge created by request and only 1 owner.

Sunderland: No picture for the Mackems (they don't deserve one). After all the fuss about Roy Keane and big Niall over the summer, they have won just one match out of 5. Will they beat their own record for the lowest points scored in the premiership again this year? No microbadge - think of the children!

Derby County: Derby's Rams look more like the black sheep of the premiership this year. 5 games and 1 point. Get ready to go straight back down!

Sheffield United: Depressed by being relegated on the last day and still fighting West Ham in the courts. At least they are the only Championship club to have a microbadge with an owner (just one though).

I wonder why...
(Hey, stop laughing - City HAVE won the FA Cup. So what if it was after that Monty Python sketch?)
(I have the admirable (questionable? laughable?) quality of remaining loyal to my teams no matter how badly they go. I mean, I've been a Cincinnati Bengals fan for over 30 years, too.)
How about this? It is the clearest I can get the club crest. Is there a simpler image (e.g. just the elephant) you would prefer or are you happy with this one?

From the original logo, just the elephant and castle
The 3rd one is obviously far more recognisable. Thoughts?
