My entry into gaming include MTG. It offered unique game play, re-playability, and gorgeous art.
Aside from collecting and play table top games, I am a huge fan of the art and artist.
I met Kurt Miller at GenCon this year, and purchased a print of the soon to be released, Hannibal: Rome vs. Carthage. It is beautiful.
He has done so many wonderful pieces, it is not possible to post them all. In addtition, he has done book covers, and video game box art. Honorable mention goes to the game board/tiles of Tide of Iron, and Zombies (Twilight Creations.)

Gouache (from the Italian guazzo, "water paint, splash") or bodycolor (the term preferred by art historians) is a type of paint consisting of pigment suspended in water. Gouache differs from watercolor in that the particles are larger, the ratio of pigment to water is much higher, and an additional, inert, white pigment such as chalk is also present. This makes gouache heavier and more opaque, with greater reflective qualities.

I do not think that a copy of the new box art is on the Geek just yet. Check it out at the Valley Games site.

There's no good pic here on the Geek, but I think his work on Machiavelli is easily his best - there is a pic on his website above.
