It's kind of hard to miss this one. This was one of the first zombie games I got exposed to. However, it very quickly grew old. One game that dragged on for over four hours was enough to turn me off of the game.
However, enough people love the game enough to spawn a host of expansions...

Not even a picture yet. Still, I do like the title.

Well, we're still on Twilight Creations (Hey, if you have a schtick and it keeps making you money, stick with it!) but not a Zombies!!! game. I tried this once but despite having five experienced gamers at the table, we were left completely confused by the rules. If the game was being taught by an experienced player, I'd try it again but I'm steering clear for now.
After all, life is tough enough without a mountain of zombies

Still hanging out with Twilight Creations, this is a game where you use those little wind up toys from your childhood. For them that like a game built around a gimick, I've heard good things.

Heck, Twilight Creations even managed to get Reiner Knizia in on the fun.
It seems that no one can resist the pull of zombies.

We move away from the flesh eating zombies of Twilight Creation to the friendly, helpful zombies of Friedey's , the fast food restaurant of the damned.
Not the brightest bunch but they do try to be helpful...

And they even offer you a wide selection of menues. This is actually my favorite of the James Ernst's efforts at supporting the zombie cause.

Sadly, they are not that good at working the cash register.
Even by CheapAss standards, this is a dirt cheap game or set of games. Sadly, the low price is the best feature in my experience.

Yee-ha! If you can't keep 'em in the kitchen, you might as well take 'em out train robbin'!

Despite the fun of Friedey's, I'm pretty sure that I have to credit Twilight Creations for making people realize that zombies were good for more than just eating brains. They're also a great theme for games.
I have never played this particular game but it sounds like it follows the basic theme of so many zombie films. It doesn't matter how many folks die, as long as I'm not one of them.

Some people, though, knew of the money making potential of the walking dead, long before Zombies!!! was even a twinkle in a drop of falling blood. SPI gave us this lovely piece of undying fun back in 1978.

We even have free print-and-play zombie games. Yes, you don't have to pay a dime to get eaten by a zombie. What a deal!

Wow. Even the hippies at Looney Labs are in on the zombie action. I really enjoyed this game. It plays fast and is true to both Fluxx and to zombies.

I've barely even scratched the surface of all the games about zombies and I am already boarding up my windows and doors. There are a whole lot of zombie games.
I'm going to end this on a high note. When the Last Night on Earth came out, I assumed it was yet another zombie game that would take too long to play and end up being too repetitive.
Instead, all I have to say is 'wow'
Best zombie game ever. If this is not the definitive zombie game, then the one that tops it is going to have real zombies crawling out of the box to get you.

Another free print and play zombie game.
I can't speak for how good it is, but if it is anything like Zombie Plauge (and I hear it is better) this may be a must have for zombie lovers

And here's a card game of Zombies 'racing' through a graveyard, or should that be shambling, crawling or dragging themselves...
