Leiria CON 2008 - Portugal, 26th January 2008

After much anticipation the biggest convention of Portugal become a reality, thanks to the efforts from the crew at Spiel Portugal where amongst them you can find two of the Portuguese BGG GotW's (Luis Filipe e Costa (fs1973) and Paulo Soledade (Soledade) ). With around 100 participants coming from all around Portugal, this all day event proved that the hobby is growing among the nation that discovered all new worlds to the World.

This was one of the games ever present, with a fellow geek providing all the info needed and presenting new players to it.

One of the center stage games of the convention, there was almost no downtime around this, with games going on all along the day.

With the presence of the author Mac Gertz, that provided a 1 copy only adapted version of the game.
|
|
|
|
Also in play to try and learn was a magnificent table of Flames of War.

Until the end around midnight this convention was a total blast!! Everything was great and well organized. To all the gamers present I hope to see you there next year!!

It was indeed one hell of a party. Lot's of games, lot's of people and even a couple of great-top-notch guests.
