I recently rediscovered the fun of making FIMO ( sculpey ) pieces for several games and now I want to know wich game would you like to be "FIMOed" ?

I show you what I´ve done and what I wish I had done but couldn´t and you tell me wich game you wish to be "FIMOed".

Someone else makes better figures ( In this case thumbsup for User tcamprubi ):

But for me ( and some others ) my figures are good enough and after this succesful first try I remembered that I once have done this for.....

Consider me inspired. Based on an article with a link to this list and another reference to polymer clay origami weekend before last, I decided to muck around with the stuff.

I don't like my house replacements as much as yours, but I decided to stick to a theme for each color to help out the color blind players in my group. I also couldn't resist making a few small tweaks to your resource designs. My radiation symbol is a thin slice of cane I made (although I do need a better knife for future work).

If I ever do this again, I'm going to make a little Oscar the Grouch to stick in one of the garbage cans.

My last prototype for my self-published game, Border Reivers included FIMO mountain ranges, castles, towers, towns, cities and armies. The town, cities and armies were fairly generic (discs and cylinders) and were replaced with wooden equivalents in the self-published version, but the towers, castles and mountain ranges I was really proud of:

The published version had far plainer components.

Meeples are good. I use Playmobil football figures and goals on a larger pitch myself, but Fimo players would certainly add to the look of the game.

I would have suggested that you take on Hey! That's My Fish (Packeis am Pol) if you owned it as those wooden penguins are the worst thing about that game. However, you do not own that one. I doubt that my Sculpey penguins would hold a candle to your efforts.

Here's a business proposition. Since Valley Games still hasn't gotten the special pieces to those who pre-ordered this game oh so long ago, you could make a bunch of ships and containers that are prettier than what comes with the game and sell them to Valley so they can fulfill their promise.

Think that will work?

Just putting this in the list rather than the comments:

I have always wanted some ships for Puerto Rico. Something sized to hold the right number of goods based on players.

3 Ships that you could fill the extra spaces for less than 5 players would be nice. That way you only need to do 3 ships, and then if you have fewer players, you just fill some of the spots with dummies. That way you do not need 5 ships, nor the ability to store 5 ships.

Originally, this had 3-D Colosseums.

It would require 5 x 2 End pieces, and 5 x 2 Center pieces.

But wow, would it look cool! I would be in for that!

Hacienda is an option. Lots of little animals in 5 colors and the haciendas as little houses would be great. Could even do the water or the land tiles.

As I said above, everything with animals would be easy to do, the little haciendas also don´t seem to be a problem....maybe when I once own the game.

How about this upcoming game from Z-Man Games! It's a game about making sushi! The food would look great in FIMO!

The trucks in this game are great, but they all hold the same amount of cubes.

Maybe different sized trucks that hold the right amount of drink.

Cool models btw

The monster has interchangeable parts and is in fact MONSTERS.
You could build different monsters using the parts and this is something that wouldn`t work with fimo.

I guess you're right about the monster but the characters could be done.

Besides, Furunkulus favors the flavor of FIMO.

Well done!

I have always wanted some ships for Puerto Rico. Something sized to hold the right number of goods based on players.

3 Ships that you could fill the extra spaces for less than 5 players would be nice.

I don´t know for which game, but I would hust love to see you do some samurai!

But Samurai is already a beautiful game! Same goes for Nexus Ops mentioned above. I would like to see some dreary looking game get the FIMO treatment. How about The Downfall of Pompeii? I would love to throw people rather than small wooden hexagons into the volcano! (yes, I have the German version).

Great work! thumbsup

Edit: I am stupid. Jtspecial did not mean the game Samurai. Ah well, that should teach me to read the whole sentence before writing something.

I'd say Shogun (Dirk Henn 2006) would be a nice one to do some Samurai caricatures in Fimo... one could even add some little details, as there are only five to make...

Now I've went and tempted myself to make some, lol... if only I could sculpt!

Wow, I love this thread. These games really come alive with the FIMO clay.

I'd be ecstatic to see Trollhalla done in clay!
