We get together every 2nd Saturday of the months to play the games on the East-side of Indianapolis, IN. We start at 1pm and usually play until 11pm or so. This game was finally able to hit the table! Jamie, Ian, and I had played before and explained the game to David and Andrew. To start the game Ian went to Boston, Jamie went to N.Y., David went to Raleigh, Andrew went to Louisville, and I decided to upgrade my engine the first 3 actions. This of course meant that I a ton of stock early.
Throughout the game, both Ian and David skipped around on the board. David finally settled in the Northern part of the Midwest and Ian going to the South. I built from Savannah to Chicago. Jamie, who was trying to go from N.Y. to Chicago for the bonus, was block out twice by both Andrew and I. A great welcome to the group! Andrew did build the Western link and probably could have pulled off a win with just a few more turns. We finished in an extremely quick manner, right at 2 hours. I can?t wait to get this one on the table again!

Krista was picked on quite a bit in this quick burning gaming. It was obvious towards the end that Andrew as going to win, regardless of what happened. I enjoyed this game more this time than the first time I played it.

Christy, a new player to our group and gaming, got her first experience with Ticket to Ride: Europe. She seemed to enjoy it, but was beaten out by the more experienced player.

First time experience for all of but Jamie in this game. If I had been able to end the game on my final turn, then Darrell would have won. Since I was unable to do so, Andrew won.

I was able to get the first three jesters of this game. The game continued to be close however until the last round, where with 2 prestige cards and 4 works in a row, I was able to pull away.
