This is a list for potential future Sunday sessions. The games played in these sessions tend to be of a longer and meatier variety. Thought this list might be a good idea after looking at our existing Wednesday night list, it's become a wee bit cluttered with games that we're not going to get to play on a Wednesday night. The by product of this is a lot of games suited to a Wednesday night have been bumped further down the list. Seemed like a good idea to set up another geeklist for Sunday games. That and it's a slow day at work

Same rules as the first list apply :

To Nominate - click on the Add Item button below, add the game you are interested in
To Vote - Click the Give thumb up button directly below the picture of the game

Please vote for the games you MOST want to play (I'm sure most of us be happy to play any of them). These games will probably come out a lot less frequently, so it might be better leaving spaces for people who really want to play rather than folk who are just going with the flow.

Another one that might be better suited to a weekend session, particularly if (ahem) some of our slower players are invloved. No offence meant!

Ian wrote - Okay - so I'm thinking we should try and host a twilight struggle sunday, maybe 6 players on 3 game boards, bit of a round robin. I reckon each game should take no more than 2.5 hours - so if we arranged it properly we could maybe manage a small tournament.

I'd definitely be up for this one. I thought we did this in about two and a half hours last time with five players. Could it be done on a wednesday?

I'm not sure if this is do-able on a Wed. The last time we played this on a Wed it was into the early hours of the morning and that was with five players. Another problem for me on a Wed is I have to be at central to meet Cat for 11.10, regardless of whether we could finish the game or not. It's also a game that slows down with less than five players as one or more people will be juggling two characters.

That's why I shyed away from putting it on a Wed list.

For 4+ players this is probably better suited to a weekend session.

We have been getting this one done on wednesdays even with six. Doesn't really need to be on this list.

Looks like a loooonnng game tho, maybe about 5 hours so a Sunday slot would be best.

This is a great production tree game that takes about 3 hours but is well worth a play if you like to have your head melted. It has a time counter a bit like Jenseits von Theben and while you are constructing buildings there is no ownership which means other players can use them if you don't watch what you're doing. Plus the original edition has a purple and blue colour scheme - I am in heaven.

I think with these longer games it is just a case of "If you arrange it, they will come."

I think there has been suggestion of the possibility of a Largs Fest. Maybe I can encourage people with the view out of my living room window.

It is a long way to Largs but if people are willing to make the trip I am more than willing to host. One possible problem is that I don't have great tables. I have one that is 5 foot by 1 foot 8 inches and another that is 2'6" by 3'6".

I'd be happy to play in Largs and more than willing to drive. I guess we could take a table with us. Both Ian and myself have fold up tables that would fit into my car.
