Free Print and Play Games printable on a black&white laser printer

a.k.a. Games that work in monochrome.
I don't have a color printer, that's why I'm always on the lookout for games that are made to be printed only in black or are in color, but work well enough if printed in grayscale (maybe later painted with different-colored markers or watered-down acrylics).

I see from the game's gallery that someone printed it out in b/w and it seems to work. Haven't tried it myself yet.

This game not only works well in monochrome, it was designed to be printed in black and white!
Play as the artificer Isodoros who is attempting to reconstruct the Utopia Engine in an effort to stop the fast approaching Doomsday. With only two weeks to accomplish your task, you'll have to divide your time between scavenging the deadly wilderness for parts and feverishly working to activate and connect those parts into the Utopia Engine.

Logical strategy board game for two players. They take roles of totally bored gardeners, who are fooling around with a small chemist's kit in an old, godforsaken garden. However, that play quickly turns into a competition about who is going to grow more mutated creeper and overwhelm the opponent with it. Only one of them can win. Is it going to be you?
Players aim for reaching a certain amount of points though expansion of their own creeper and blocking their opponent. Points are earned through placing creepers on point-marked tiles or by doing certain actions on the board.
There is a color and black & white version - elements on both boards look different.

As I am not a graphic designer, nor a visual artist of any remarkable skill, the current PNP version of the card pictured in this item is somewhat spartan in appearance. The bad news is, that card is the only card in the game - indeed, the only physical component in the game, it is simply duplicated 108 times. The good news is, it plays better than it looks.
Frankly, it would be hard not to.
[EDIT] For those who are particularly cautious about saving ink (and time), I've put together the Skeleton Crew version - Logically identical to the Bone Marrow cards, but you only have to print three pages.

All the counters included work in b/w since they only serve to represent the permanents in play, the rules/abilities for which are included in each player's spreadsheet. You can even make up your own counters as well; it's all purely aesthetic.

Since Zombie in my Pocket worked so well printed in grayscale, this could work, too. The board looks very similar - it seems it was drawn by the same artist in the same style, so I'm confident at least the board would nice in grayscale. I'll try to print it unmodified on my monchrome laser sometime.

Seems to be quite a bit more work than most of the others in this list.

This should work well when printed out in grayscale because the cards are pretty uniformly colored. It could be reasonably easy to paint over the different gray cards with a translucent coat of paint.
I used an image editor to raise the contrast and lighten the background a bit so the coat of paint I plan to add will be better visible. Will be printing it soon.

I like elephants. I like how they swing through trees.

I pleaded with the designer to make a black and white set of this cool game!

This works quite well in grayscale. I didn't modify it at all because the contrast seemed really good in a preview. After building it, I can say that it really works, and as someone else said, feels a bit like an old zombie movie (Night of the Living Dead from 1968, for example).

This works in Black and White, a lot of fun when you play with some of thelads.

I guess I could up the contrast and lower lightness in an image editor, then print in grayscale, then paint over the tiles with reasonable effort.
