This is a list of game reviews my wife and I have co-written. They all tend to focus on games that can be played two player very well.

This is our series of reviews written specifically to address games that my wife and I find enjoyable as two-player games. We especially like games that can be played with multiple players but scale down to two well. The rules will be briefly covered but the majority of the review is for game play and interaction. One thing to keep in mind is that we are both avid gamers, so the purpose of the review is not to find ‘gateway’ games to get your significant other to play with you (though many will serve this purpose), but to find interesting games that play well with two.

We have a number of new reviews in the pipeline that we are getting excited about writing, but if you have any requests for others games we have and how they play with two players feel free to leave a comment.

I'm not finding the review. What makes this a good game? And, what makes it good for a couple to play?

Yes, this really is what I looked like when I uploaded that avatar. Not that it's quite current anymore.

One of our 'odd' games for two players. Most people think this one needs 4-5 players, but we really enjoy the two-player aspect.

So far our most popular review (by way of thumbs and comments). Still one of our favorite games for two players.

This is one of my favorite games, it plays well with 2 to 4 players and nobody who has played hasn't wanted to play it again.

I feel like cheating if I do a lot of congress cards...I don't want to be some boring lecturer, I want to dig!

We bought this game while at convention to get it signed by the designer. Never regretted it.

Great list! And great reviews! I can't believe I missed them. They look quite helpful for couples and our decisions about games.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of them.

Thanks for the nice comments. We have 3-4 more in the works right now. We like to make sure the game stands up well before finishing the reviews off.
