I have various games in my collection that I figure, "OK, I'm going to get my friends to play this some time." I'm using this list to keep track of these games, since I haven't been doing as good of a job as I had hoped of getting to them.

I need to figure out whether I'm buying ASLSK#2 or selling ASLSK#3. To do this, I'd like to finish playing all of the scenarios in ASLSK#1.

Well, if you're after scenarios, you're going to want them both, but #3's got the latest rules addenda, and incorporates all of #2's rules, so I'd lean toward getting #3 first.

I have #3. My feeling is that either I'm going to be so geeked at finishing #1 that I'll want them all, or I'll be tepid enough not to want either #2 or #3.

I definitely want to try this one some more. I think I like Lock 'n Load better, but I want to play this at least once more.

I'm not sure which I like better LnL or ASLSK. I enjoyed both and want to try both again.
2. Board Game: Diplomacy [Average Rating:7.19 Overall Rank:171]

Christina got me this nice version. I need to find some way of getting 7 people together to play it.

I'm not a huge Diplomacy fan, but, if we can get 7 players together, I would be in.

I *love* this game, but it's hard to find enough people and enough time.

First, I need to read the rules. Then we're playing this.

We have this, but haven't played it yet.

If it is anything like the board game, I am in.

There's a memory aspect to it that rubs some people the wrong way -- after you put cards away to fulfill tickets, you can't look to see that you have the right number of cards. Don't think that'll be a problem; the main downside to me seems to be the lack of a map. 'Cause maps are cool.

Update: Christina, Ben and I played this on 2008-08-31. Interesting, but I'm not sure whether I'll end up liking it.

Definitely a fun game. I am in for any expansions.

I believe that WBC has this game as a trial tournament this year, which I find very amusing--having a tournament around a game that's so random. Don't get me wrong--I *love* this game--but it's not exactly a test of skill.

I wonder if you'll be able to get an AREA rating in it.

I'm curious what this one is like.
All back-lit and evil-smoking like that guy on the X-Files.

It's like a bunch of people shouting and waving cards at each other.

Actually, it's exactly that.

I played this today with relatives and others at my cousin's 40th birthday party. I am going to put "playing this with the advanced rules" on the bucket list now.

I want to get a game of Uberchrononauts going.

I'm really not that big of a fan of Chrononauts. I don't mind playing as filler in between other longer games, but, not sure I am so interested in a game of Chrononauts taht will take a long time...

The traditional card game, not the commercial game.

I remember playing this with my grandmother growing up.

The rules are at http://www.pagat.com/patience/spitemal.html. I may have to ask my aunt to help me clarify which version we traditionally played.

And I think with a ranking like #4513, I can't use a word other than inflicting.
