My Nickles and Dimes 2008

I don't think these games require much comment. As you can see, I play a lot of games with my kids. There are a couple "gamers" games here, but mostly it's been family time.

13 plays. My boy loves this one. It does have a lot of bits and a cool electronic talking thing.

10 plays. My girl loves this one. We've even printed out the extra stuff and stuck it on, although we haven't played with the dodge balls yet.

9 plays. My wife likes this game. Although since we both like Africa better I'm not sure how this one is higher.

9 plays. I don't even like Apples to Apples, but a lot of things are fun with the family that aren't fun otherwise.

8 plays. This one comes out with the game group and with my wife sometimes. I like that there's some thinking, but you can still have a conversation while you play this.

7 plays. Another family favorite.

6 plays. What can I say, my daughter loves Monopoly. We play it pretty quickly and show no mercy, so we can get a game knocked out in 90 minutes or so.

6 plays. Another quickie that's a good alternative (or addition) to a light saber fight in the front yard.

5 plays. A recent rediscovery by the family. My son wasn't so sure about this one (a lot going on on the board for him), but after smashing his mother's boat and shark eating his sister, he enjoyed it.
