Designer: Susumu Kawasaki

At the same game table, each player independently plays his/her favorite rule. While one player is doing a trick-taking variant, another player wants to adjust the total number of cards' ranks of the trick under 24, and the third man plays a unique card about color and number. In this dizzying situation of total chaos, you must achieve success using the rules as much as possible!

Designer: Richard James

A casual card game of politics and intrigue at the Medici court.
In Court of the Medici, you play the leader of one of the powerful factions in the city of Florence. Your faction’s power and prosperity in Florence are tied to your favor with the city’s ruling family, the Medici. Favor with the Grand Duke de Medici comes from having the nobles of your faction present at court. However, with nobles from all the other factions at court as well, your influence on the duke is limited.

Through wisely using the nobles you send to court though, you may be able to reduce your rival’s influence while increasing your own faction’s prestige.

Designers: Carl De Visser and Jarratt Gray

A game of world exploration and empire building. You represent a European empire colonizing the Mediterranean and shipping to all parts of the world to increase the empire's glory and status in Industry, Culture, Finance and Politics. When a region opens up (i.e. the shipping lanes are full) a player can colonize, attack or retrieve resources from that region. The game plays easily as each turn a player builds a building giving him a special action or increasing one of his main statistics, and gets a number of people with which to activate buildings for special actions (Ship, Move, Attack, Draw or Recycle). Increased skill in Politics allow the player to hold cards that help increase his statistics and glory.

Designer: Eric Goldberg

Tales of the Arabian Nights is actually several games in one.

In Tales of the Arabian Nights, you are the hero or heroine in a story of adventure and wonder just like those told by Scheherazade to her spellbound sultan! You will travel the land seeking your own destiny and fortune. You will learn stories and gain wisdom to share with others. Will you be the first to fulfill your destiny? The next Tale is yours to tell! There is, of course, a winner in Tales of the Arabian Nights, but the point of the game is less to see who wins and more to enjoy the unfolding and telling
of a great story!

In this new edition of the groundbreaking storytelling game, you enter the lands of the Arabian Nights alongside Sindbad, Ali Baba, and the other legendary heroes of the tales. Travel the world encountering imprisoned princesses, powerful 'efreets, evil viziers, and such marvels as the Magnetic Mountain and the fabled Elephant's Graveyard.

Choose your actions carefully and the skills you possess will reward you: become beloved, wealthy, mighty - even become sultan of a great land. Choose foolishly, however, and become a beggar, or be cursed with a beast's form or become insane from terror! YOU will bring to life the stories of the inestimable Book of Tales in this vastly replayable board game with over 2002 tales that will challenge, amuse, astound and spellbind you for years to come.

Zev is doing an updated version of this classic story-telling game.

When dividends are paid, those with stock get paid - and keep getting paid until the airline has no money left (assuming all could be easily divided among the shareholders). Special event cards can close airports, double payouts for using routes, etc. Special player cards give each player access to a special ability (which all share during a round).

Designer: Steve Zamborsky

A tongue-in-cheek tip of the hat to many Eurogame designs, and yet a brain-burner as well.

Cleopatra's Caboose is a train game for 3 to 5 players that's based in Ancient Egypt. Each turn, players bid for the right to utilize a game designer of their choosing which denotes both the turn order and a special ability that can be used that turn.

Players construct tracks, ship fruits to cities that need them, construct buildings for victory points and to improve a city's status, and build pyramids to make a city more prestigious. Be careful, though; you have a limited amount of money and actions in which to accomplish your goals! Manage both wisely and become the Emperor of Ancient Egypt!

Designer: John Velonis

The winner of our monster-themed design contest. In this game, a luxury liner hits an iceberg and begins to sink. Adding to this unfortunate incident is that the world's great monsters have been captured and placed in this boat as part of the liner's entertainment - a giant ape, a vampire, a fish-man, a wolf-man, a mummy and a man-monster now roam free as their cages have been broken. It's now up to the stalwart heroes who have captured these creatures the first time, to take them down permanently. And they have to do it amongst, fleeing passengers, unsuspecting maidens and frantic crew. Oh, and before this ship sinks.

This game was the winner of a game designing contest that Z-Man Games held on the Board Game Designer's Forum.

Designer: Richard Breese

This is an expansion set for Reef Encounter, introducing new creatures, opportunities and tactics to the basic game.

The crown of thorns starfish with their voracious appetites have now found the reef and will consume any corals that they can reach. Blue shrimps will assist host shrimps in protecting the larger corals, but these blue shrimps are notoriously unreliable. Meanwhile the polyp tiles now come in a variety of different forms and even the rocks are liable to change shape.

A selection of cards provides one off opportunities to influence the game, to introduce or to move the blue shrimps or to affect the scoring at the end of the game. An appropriate card is also required before a parrot fish can consume its first coral.

This will use the Z-Man Games edition artwork.

This is a sequel of successful Ubongo but now on a higher level of difficulty.
Just like in Ubongo all players put their tiles simultaneously down on their player mat to fill up the requested shape as fast as possible.
This isn't easy at all because of the new and uncommon shaped hexagonal tiles. It is as fascinating as the original which proved to be addicting.
