I have been reading the various threads/geeklists relating to Arts Cow Card Decks, and thought it may be handy to have a list of all the card sets that people have had done, with direct links to the albums they have made.

So if you have made a deck and would like to share the files with others, add it to the list.

PLEASE NOTE: Some items have been removed from this list as they violate the site policies against posting content which aids in making copies of published games without clear consent from the rights holders. Please do not post items that fall into this category.

It has been suggested that this list might be better in alphabetical order, to assist in finding games. So now it is.

If you want some good advice on how to successfully make a deck, visit this thread: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/395699

UPDATE: "There has been some confusion about how to create a link to read-to-buy cards, but I think with the help of Wulf Corbett and Grimwald, we've worked it out. To create an album of pre-edited cards with an 'add to cart option', the album creator should click the link in the Silverlight editor that says 'share with friends'. Then, on the next screen where you can email to a friend, you have to click the checkbox that says 'Allow add to cart'. That provides you with a working link that can be posted. I believe (though I'm not certain) that this does not allow you to go through the process of editing the album to combine decks, customize and such, so this method does subtract some utility." - As suggested by Nick L (nicodemus055)

I created a set of RGB color cards to help me pick colors when making game prototypes. I do quite a few card games and I like to color code the suits, among other things. Anyway, being (a) colorblind, and (b) the opposite of artistic, my colors frequently don't come out the way I intend, especially as printers and monitors vary quite a bit.

So, print these cards on YOUR printer to have a handy set of color samples. The list item here links to the the zip file of PNG formatted cards, and I uploaded these to Artscow as well, where I intend to print 2x of each card so I will have a handy reference to how MY homemade cards will turn out on THEIR printers.

Hope this is useful to others.

The color cards makes me think of something:

* Could someone create ONE card (to fill out a deck of something) which includes the 6 best colors for player pieces for color blind people? In other words, a red, blue, green, yellow, black, purple that are distinguishable by various color blind people? If it could be extended to 10 colors that would be even better.

Having a handy reference card with the color codes to use would be very useful.

Great idea! Like an Artscow Pantone book.

http://www.pantone.com/pages/pantone/category.aspx?ca=1

It might be nice to do a CMYK card set, rather than RGB. The red/green/blue system is designed to describe lighted colors, as seen on monitors and such. However, RGB doesn't capture the range and limitations of the traditional 4-color printing process, which uses combinations of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black.

There's a good discussion of color blindness with respect to scientific papers at http://jfly.iam.u-tokyo.ac.jp/color/, and the author even includes a set of colors that are color-blind compatible, AND which he includes, CMYK, RGB (0-255) and RGB (%) values for. It's only 8 colors, but it would probably be a nice thing to work from.

Thanks for posting a link to these. I ordered them and have played with them, but I want to get a couple more plays in with them before I really review them on 365ZED. My initial feelings are that they are pretty cool if for no other reason then for the "consolation prize" of having a "secret power" if you get made into a zombie hero.

5. Board Game: The 12 Days of Christmas [Average Rating:6.67 Unranked]

From http://www.cheapass.com/freegames/12days :

On the 12th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me... a card game completely for free!

This game is so large that it takes up most of two decks, and (unfortunately) the decks can't have mixed back designs, so you'll have to sort the Gift Deck from the Holiday Deck by using the fronts. (It's not that hard). That being said, here are links to the TWO DECKS you'll need to print if you want to make this project at ArtsCow.

12 Days Deck (Odd cards and some of the 12s)
12 Days Deck (Even cards minus some of the 12s)

(please note that the associated image, plus the other two I've just uploaded, are of cards from www.printerstudio.com)

Nice work on getting the first 3 realms up on Arts Cow. As for the Bones Island set, since you need to make a deck of 54 cards, it wouldn't make sense to do another deck yet until he has the 2nd set of 3 realms finished at the least.

Nope.

At any rate, not exactly. Designer Ted Torgerson posted this on the ConsimWorld forum:
Q: What are some of the major rules changes from your DTP version?
A: Jason has designed a new scoring system. That is the biggest change. More on that from him soon I expect.

Clockwork Cabal is a game for one player lasting about 20 minutes. You win by locating all 6 parts of the Antikytheria before time runs out.

Required to play:
1 player pawn
1d12
13 small eurocubes
and the deck of 54 cards

there are 3 types of cards in the deck:

City Sector cards form the map of the city that you move across during the game. You build the city as you progress
Location cards list events that need to be resolved and let you find the parts of the Antikytheria
Player cards keep track of your health, knowledge, strength and items found.

Available as an Artscow deck - http://www.artscow.com/gallery/card/aether-captains-clockwor...

Aether Captains: Clockwork Cabal - Economy Version (single card back)
http://www.artscow.com/gallery/playing-cards/aether-captains...

This game could be considered a dungeon crawl but I think I've been able to make it a bit left of center from hat you'd normally expect.

rest assured i have heard everyone's requests. i know there is a time limit on this current Artscow deal so tonight (tomorrow at the latest) i will re-jigger the following games of mine into 'economy' editions. each game will have one specific card back and be set up on the 'playing card' format to take advantage of the sale

Aether Captains: Capek Golems
Aether Captains: The Search
Aether Captains: Clockwork Cabal
Ragnarök: Aesir and Jötunn
New World Colony

i will still leave in my gallery the original 'deluxe' editions with the multiple backs for those wanting designer versions of my games.

lastly Steam Lords will be converted to this deck type as well but i need to finish designing an expansion to the game to take up the remaining 15 cards i have not yet used

lastly, secondly, Aether Captains: Triad is, unfortunately the one game i will not convert due to rules being on some of the card backs in the game. but there are 3 games contained in that deck so the standard price is still a deal i think

3 new games innovatively using 1 deck of 54 custom cards, all set in the Aether Captains world.

Players supply 5d6 to share and 24 eurocube sized markers per player. All the games are designed to share components and be able to be played quickly by 2 players in a compact space. Deck includes all cards to play each game, cards which are the game boards, and all the rules. Designed for print and play fans and also available as an Artscow order.

These games came about because I had wanted to fill an Artscow order that was short a few cards. In the process I developed these three very different games, all built for 2 players since that has been a request, though Celinian Trader can be played solo as well.

Now available as an Artscow order - http://www.artscow.com/gallery/card/aether-captains-triad-13...

You are driving me crazy! First I order Ragnarok. Then you let me know about Capek Golems in my review, so I order that on sunday. NOW I got the itch to order Triad too! It will just have to wait for a coupon code though. I jumped at AC:CG because I had a 2nd deck (2x Risk express, power grid cheat sheets, and monad chips) to order and reach a 20$ free shipping level for a coupon.

I need either another game to reach 20$ again or a across the board cut in deck prices and shipping (preferred).

Anyone have an idea how regularly AC puts out those type of deck discounts? I nabbed some stuff on the last discount a month or two ago.

I am glad that your games fill up a deck and do not leave me with the gruesome task of assembling some horrorific mutant deck combining the leavings of 3-4 different games that were 6 or 10 cards too big.

What if I only want one of the three games? Celinian Trader (14 cards including rules). It plays solo.

the 3 games were conceived of originally to be separate-able into individual card sets for 54-card filler decks.

this is the link to the gallery:
http://www.artscow.com/Member/FileManager.aspx?folder=213063...

(i have not done this previously so let me know if it does not work correctly)

you'll need all cards marked either 'trader' 'derby' or 'intrigue' depending on which game you wish to add to a frankenstein-ed artscow deck

each of the games has 1 back for all the cards except for the rules cards which typically have their own back sides (Zeppelin Derby is a single side of rules, Intrigue has 2 sides and Celinian trader has 3 sides)

when you drag them into your own gallery, hit the shrink button twice on each card which should amount to the proper bleed ratio. all card fronts for Celinian Trader and Intrigue are full bleed

Thanks to James Hebert (jhebert), Airborne in my Pocket is finally available on ArtsCow.

It's a free Print-N-Play game that plays mostly solitaire. Inspired by Zombie in my Pocket, ABimP puts you in the combat boots of an Allied paratrooper sent behind enemy line to prepare the Normandy Landings of D-Day. The ArtsCow deck contains all the necessary cards to play the Basic and Advanced game. The Rulebook and Campaign Book are available on the game page, in the files section.

Join the Airborne! Kick some Nazi ass! And help us win the war!

Having taught this game to my casual-gaming family, I discovered that the Senate (SPQR) tiles are somewhat lacking in their iconography, and an oft-referenced player aid is necessary for players to accurately grasp how each tile scores. This makes this an unnecessarily frustrating part of learning this otherwise great super-filler.
So, these cards replace those tiles, with the necessary information on each card.
I have added text detailing exactly how they score, adapted from the rules. Also, I have added an icon, the flag, as a reminder that the Patricians must be allocated to a Province in order to count.

Here is the Album:
http://www.artscow.com/ShareAlbum.aspx?Key=ui168893
and a deck design
http://www.artscow.com/share/2jppspmbe2iq
I zoomed out 2 clicks, but I'm not sure that's the best.
Yes, there are only 19 cards, so you may want to use a generic back and fill out the deck with other cards.

Here are jpegs of the cards, to use how you like. Consider paste-ups instead of cards, although the dimensions of the tiles are different.
edit: included are some images of the card backs, as placeholders.

Note: these are the files that have been entered in the competition, but they aren't final. There will be a final, prettier version in the next few weeks, so if you were thinking of ordering a set, you may want to wait awhile. I'll post here when they're available.

For those who like to print their own cards, the current set can be downloaded here - you'll need one set of each.

Deck probably needs updating:

http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/630822/rules-arian-controver...

Alright, the Influence card deck has been uploaded. Here's the new rules to incorporate these cards into your game. Hopefully soon, I'll have a much more "visually pleasing" rulebook uploaded, so look forward to that. Until then, here you go.

In addition to the new rulebook, I'm working on...a four player game! The new role cards are there, and the four-player game's mostly planned out (it needs a little more playtesting, especially in the Council of Nicaea phase of the game), but it will play very similarly to the base game. It plays in two teams of two. The only difference with the two player game will be the new strategies that will come from being able to split up as a team. Should be fun. Look forward to that.

Here are the contract cards and event cards for my Auf Achse USA variant.

All you'll need to do is print out the USA map. It fits perfectly on the back of the original game board.

Our game group enjoys this variant much better because it's a bit easier to visualize where your trucks are going (not many of us are from Germany!)

Here are the links to my completed stuff for Auf Asche:

First is the events deck which is for both the Germany and USA maps. This 54 card deck has notations at the bottom of each card for "Germany" or "USA". Use the cards that are appropriate. Two cards that are indentical to both games have "Germany/USA". This was the only way to handle the 28 cards X 2 sets in a 54-card deck:

http://www.artscow.com/share/c39ga38x753h

The second deck is a completely formated, ready to go set of the USA contracts:

http://www.artscow.com/share/jksa3c7hxonq

Finally, I have the USA map ready to be printed on a 20" X 30" canvas. This rolls up nicely in the tube provided or, if you remove the plastic tray in the Auf Asche box, can be folded up and carried with the original German game:

http://www.artscow.com/share/8x0idikge5ry

I hope you enjoy these ready to play ArtsCow game parts.

One note for anyone ordering the Auf Achse USA map on a photo canvas from ArtsCow - it will NOT be waterproof or even water resistant. I took mine with us for a weekend at the cabin, and we unloaded the car in a light rain (very light rain). I now have streaks down my board and spots where drops completely took the ink off. All from the less than 20 seconds it was out in the rain, (and vertical, so it's not like drops were doing more than brushing against it as they fell). cry

And we ended up not even playing it during the weekend.shake

Ouch... that's too bad about the map. I know I read somewhere (maybe the Artscow site?) that they aren't waterproof, but that's REALLY not waterproof!

Has anyone ever sprayed their Artscow canvas prints with a sealant?

Was looking over this geeklist and realized I'd never posted back here. I've still got the canvas on foam board, but I also ordered a pillowcase version of the board. The pillowcase works very well - being able to fold up the board and keep it in the box (or bring it when I travel) has been great. The pillowcase dimensions are pretty much the same as the photo canvas, and it should hold up better if it ever gets wet. I'll have it with me at BGGCon most likely, if anyone wants to see it.

I believe there is a limit to how many coupon orders they take in a given day. It said as much on my last promotion e-mail for a floor mat, 100 piece/day first come first serve. I imagine the card limit is higher but it looks like they reached it yesterday. The code worked for me this morning.
