This is the game that gave me my enthusiasm back for gaming.

It's got an innovative system that's virtually no-luck with the outcome down to your choices vs your opponent. But it's not a headache, it's a great laugh.

There are overview videos by the publishers that explain this better than i can. But what i personally really like about it is that each game i play i don't know how it's gonna play out or end, and i even enjoy it when i lose. I've noticed i have to really think about who i'm playing against as my friends are very different in how they play and i have to adapt my game if i want to avoid being predictable. we really have a blast with the multi-player where you team up with one and face off against the others.

Did i mention there's diferent styles of play? - one vs one, skirmish (with more tactical and strategic battlefield decisions but still simple) and the big old battle, as well as solo and multiplayer. There's promise of future game expandability too.

And that's the real clincher for me - the future of this game looks shades-wearing bright. The expansions which give more troops, terrain and strategic options for the two factions provided, new factions, new Conflict cards, magic etc - all expanding the new fantasy world warriorelite have made for this game. (apparently it started out as an rpg concept, and it shows with the level of depth they have for the world itself. Reminds me of LotR ONLY in that sense, that they've put in a whole history and depth to the factions etc. Cos it AINT middle earth like so much fantasy. How many other card games boast a world worked out to this degree? You can really get immersed in it.

Can't wait, actually cannot wait for the world books, the expansions, the campaigns, adventure game and rpg to come. We just keep playing it.

This is one that you don't see much about but it is a pretty decent game. It's a supply and demand manipulation game. You're trying to sell your goods for the highest price while trying to limit the amount your opponents make doing the same.

Another 'little box' card game packing a pretty good punch. I like it better than San Marco, the board game it is roughly based on.
You can really struggle trying to put together two offers at times. I have played this with 3 other people, and all have enjoyed it. The wife and I played it many times, at it moves along well, and most games are pretty close.

This is my fave in the simultaneous-action speed and spatial relationships card game genre. Longer than Blink (what isn't, LOL ?!) and the tension is palpable. Also, I find orientation a more interesting attribute than shape or number and I think that the fact that you only need to use part of a card adds to the complexity of this game. In Jungle Speed, Set, and Blink the cards are what they are -- the question is "do I have a match?" In Flix Mix, there are many more permutations both in how you read your own cards and how you read the spaces available in the playing field. There's enough puzzle-like challenge here to keep your brain engaged which means that it's not all about having quick eyes and hands (though they certainly help!)

Lunch Money (with the Sticks and Stones Expansion) is the most entertaining card game I have ever played. I have since gotten 10 of my friends addicted to playing. The flow of the game is perfect. The imagery of the cards is quite haunting and only bettered by the comical (though somewhat vulgar) quotes on the cards (ex- PIMP SLAP "Look at me while I'm hitting you!") If you are looking for a low-level strategy card game to play, this is IT!!!

i think this is a great card game i have it and both of its expansions. it get slamm on bgg for being light and having some in jokes but i have played this many times and still enjoy it it is one of the higher requested card games i have. a bonus is that it can also be combined with munchkin fu, munchkin bites, and star munchkin (seperate games on different themes with the same mechanic)

I had an opportunity to play "Enemy in Sight" and really ended up liking it. It never occurred to me that naval warfare using cards could be such a kick. This WWII version with a similar system of conflict simulation looks positively fascinating. It is more complex than Enemy but has a more attractive feel and appearance, and the computer-generated art work looks great.

Clearly a game that isn't for everyone, but if you are looking for quick, light, chaotic fun, this is absolutely one of the best. If you want structure, strategy, and direction, look elsewhere.

It's a tough choice, but assuming you mean non-collectible, this is the one I'd go for. It's pretty much a board game at heart, has multiple ways to win, a great theme, and excellent strategic options.
