So, about 120 unnumbered sets and 80 numbered Essen sets for a total of 200, give or take a couple. That's a pretty small number - makes me extra happy to have been able to snag one!

200 is about all I can handle, Pat. Consider one small aspect, just the wood cubes. Each set has a precise number of wood cubes in 10 colors, about 270 cubes per set. 270x200=54,000 wood cubes to be sorted correctly. Not to mention maps, stocks, money, charters, rules, cards, wraps, printing, translating, packaging and shipping/handling. 200 is a lot to me, Pat!

Oh, I wasn't trying to downplay the number of sets or imply that 200 was somehow 'not enough' or something. I know it's a huge amount of work and I, for one, am grateful to have the chance to play these games and grateful at the effort Winsome puts into them!

Considering the tough time I'm having getting my hands on a copy of Preussische Ostbahn (like zero copies for sale/trade in the last 3 months), my original comment stemmed from happiness at not having missed out on this set and wasn't intended to come across as a backhanded compliment - my apologies if my original wording made it sound that way.

It is no problem, Pat, I was just a bit wiped-out after producing all those US Essen Sets. After a week off I am recharged and getting ready for the long trip to Germany next month.

I am sorry that our games are so difficult to get on the used market.

Well you can fix that by putting a stop to the quality gameplay--if the games aren't good they get to the used market! Or if you package them in gigantic FFG size boxes, they'll get there too. Unfortunately (for the used market), the way things are now, my Winsome games take up only part of a shelf and pack more quality gameplay than the 3.5 other shelves combined!
