Not a CDW, but, it has got battle cards. Great game. Great WBC tourney. You can start to play 1776 on the weekend and the "open" tourney format allows you all week to get your prelim rounds in.
...and the other bookend of the WBC precons, Paths of Glory begins 2 PM...six 8 hours rounds with the sharks...only the strongest survive the PoG-a-Thon
I am very much looking forward to the Wellington tournament. Hopefully I can play on tables that finish in four hours so I can catch the Napoleonic Wars action as well... and Kutuzv for good measure. It is an awesome week of gaming.
What happened to the Manifest Destiny tournament? Did it get dropped for some reason? Surely there had to be enough support for the Combat Commander, Battle Cry, and Command and Colors: Ancients tournaments too. They were pretty popular last year.
Not to get into definitions tiff (since I can't believe you added 1776 and SlapShot - you might as well definitely include Combat Commander, etc. then), but shouldn't 1960:MOTP be on this list? Or is it too Euroey (I know it's not a word, but you know what I mean) for you?
