Saturday at the Library had a good turnout of about 25 people. I got in two favorite games and learned two new ones. I didn't take notes, so please add games I miss and details.

This was played twice, once by a group with Scot, Jean, Afshin and others. Later I played with Leslie and Mark.

Leslie, Mark and I played this, the first time for all of us, while waiting for other games to get done.

Marcus, Frank, Melanie, Joe and I played. Marcus pulled out the win, and I came in a surprised second.

This also was tabled twice. Frank and Melanie played, and later another group. It was a kick hearing a table of guys reading poetic entries from the book and the cards. Hopefully someone will say how they liked this newer title.

After dinner I joined David, Scot, Jean and Afshin laying rail. Afshin pulled a long early lead, but in the final rounds it got closer for everyone but me. I think he held on for the win, with David second. Please correct the record, if I'm wrong.

This was played by four (myself, DK, Jake, and the owner who's name I cannot remember. I think I won (needless to say, my memory isn't that great).
For me, this falls into that growing category of games of "not a bad game, but there are so many other games out there that I'd rather play."

It's been awhile since I played this favorite. Five of us tried once again to save the last remants of the human race, and this time we succeeded.
Jeff (Starbuck) started off by charging into enemy raiders (twice), both times accomplishing nothing other than being blown back to sickbay. DK (President Gaius) and I (Boomer) found his actions suspicious, and ultimately had him thrown in the brig. Meanwhile Sean (Admiral Adama) provided us with a decent first two jumps, while Aaron (Galen) is always suspicious in my mind, because he is so often a toaster when I play this game with him.
At the sleeper phase, DK used his cylon detector on Sean, claimed him to be a toaster, and threw him in the brig with a presidential card. Sean revealed shortly thereafter. As Boomer, I had automatically been sent to the brig, but convinced DK that I was in fact human (and I was). Jeff still remained in the brig, and for awhile I began to suspect Aaron (who was now admiral), but ultimately Jeff revealed. A lucky find of a Tylium planet raised our fuel (the only resource that was at 1) and the humans were able to cruise the rest of the way to Kobol.
That's 24 games for me, and I've only been a cylon 3 times.

Jeff, DK, Sean and I played this Cheapass game with "borrowed" components from some of Jeff's other games.
I managed to win with 0 Victory Points by completing my secret recipe one turn before Jeff would have scored 20 VPs to win the game.

Played by 5 (David M, Jeff, Sean, Afshin and myself). I believe David won by a fairly large margin. Unlike my first game, I was not able to predict the market very well and ended up over-producing cars on several occasions.
I still can't figure out why, but I seem to like this game. It's not the type of game I'd typically play, but I may have to add this to my wishlist.

My last game of the evening, played by Afshin, DK, Sean and me. I'm not sure how many times I've played this, but I know I've done lousy each and every time. DK won by a huge margin.

We got in a four player game of Zero. A dad showed up to pick up his son and Scott, Jean the Dad and myself played this while petting the dog and telling the son we're playing a game, you have to wait to go home. This is a fast game that I think I like a lot more then other gamers.
