It seemed quieter tonight, but when I did a mental tally, it still seemed like we had about 30 people at the Midtown Crepeville.
I'll get the list started with what I played and what I remembered seeing. I hope those of you who were there will fill in the details.

Chris, Jim, Peter and I decided to start off with this favorite of mine. Jim and Peter were new, and Chris has played before, but it had been a little bit. I managed to get to a oasis with each of my five caravans, enclosed areas worth 20 points total with four of them, and took one largest caravan. My score was 83, with Peter coming in second at 74.

D.K., Nick, Don, and I believe two others decide to break out this new game that D.K. compared to Power Grid and Age of Steam. Guess I might need to try this one.

Another group including Jeff opted for this favorite. I didn't actually see which version they played, so I may have the wrong one.

Two separate groups opted to pull out this fave tonight. One group had 6 around the table; I assume one was watching. The other had a group of 4.

My older son arrived while we were finishing up Through the Desert. I really wanted to play Attika, but he wanted to play this favorite of his. He did quite well concentrating on the defense track, and then going into the top track at the end for big points. I managed to pull into second, but was hurt by losing once and tying the enemy once. We were joined by Marcus and his son Charles.

I saw Janet and Honoree, so I assumed they pulled this game out for a play, though I didn't actually see it being played.

After finishing Kingsburg, Michael, Marcus, Charles, and I opted for some pizza making. Michael still hates this game. I managed to complete 7 order; Marcus was second with 6.

I saw Janet and Greg playing this two player. They were playing each with one color on one rectangular half of the board.

Greg, Michael, and I finished off our night building postal routes. I did not manage to be the first to any of the big scoring chits, except for the one for the 7 route. However, I got both the Bayern and the all the other colors chits, my 6 carriage, and used all my post offices to trigger the end and win with 30 points. Greg was second with 26.
