Our weekly meetup was well attended this week, with about 40 people. Of course, probably about 10 of them were there for the monthly Magic: The Gathering meetup.

Chris, Jim, Jason, Peter, and I chose to start our night with this favorite of mine. I tried a different strategy, and it did not work.
Jason won by collecting 6 points for connecting stations on his final turn.

D.K., Nick, Don, and one of two other opted for this game. I was tempted to try it, but decided I wanted to play something familiar and lighter tonight. I am intrigued by this game and do want to try it.

Being the second Tuesday of the month, it was also the monthly Magic meetup, so we had very high attendance. I think I saw at least 10 people playing this, including one group of 7 that was at one of the outside tables.

This was played two of three time tonight.
I was in on one of the plays along with Chris, Jason, Peter, and Greg. We used both expansions. I managed to collect two of the first goals, along with a 6 development that gave me 13 points.

Jason, Chris, Greg and I played this after finishing Race for the Galaxy. Chris got the King first, with 7 2's. Greg took it away 8 5's, eliminating me since I only had 7 dice. I made the wrong decision to opt for manipulation instead of more dice on the turn the King was claimed. However, Chris was able to take the King back for the win with 8 6's.
