A private list to help me prep for a possible pre-Essen anticipation podcast.
Also very interested in what GeekBuzz will have to say, and compare with Fairplay Scouts.

If a dice game is actually innovative & interesting, I can be a big fan. I'm also a complete SUCKER for pasted-on themes that interest me.

A distinct maybe, though I'd wait to hear more.

Probably not, actually, once I read more about it. But the theme certainly attracts.

Lightness sounds interesting, and my aunt & uncle went to Gonzaga (both the college in Washington and the city in Italy!)

Would absolutely be on my radar screen, except that I have access to Big Boss a couple times per year already. Good game, and the retheming is ok.

Put off by the 120 minute playing time, but interested enough in the subject and quality publisher to look into it more.
Now that I have (PDF rules), I'm still http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/edititems/47310 interested. Dirk Henn, which is good. Mostly the game has a great euro look to it (stained glass cards, relic cards, wooden pieces), and Queen is a good publisher to pull it off. A little bugged that a fictitious city is used instead of Hamburg, Koln, or something.
Oh! Apparently Colonia Claudia Ara Agrippinensis was the name of Koln in the early Roman days.

An exception to my no-expansions "policy." As much as I love Dominion, I don't think I can keep up with this publication pace, either. But so far, I'm still onboard.

Dorra, Zoch, 45 minutes, and western theme are all good. Look into this one.

Gigamic is a company that makes the games I like, and teamed up with Zoch this stands a good chance of being a favorite. (Like their partnership on Marrakech was last year.)

I'm in denial that the mechanics will invoke the theme of the Age of Exploration.

I don't know, maybe. I love parts of AD (more than others in the Key series), but not ALL of it. Those cool plastic gems are part that I like, and they aren't in this card game version.

Interesting. Reminds me that I'd like to go back and play Terra again.

New designers/publisher makes me unsure, but this looks interesting.

Not sure. I was never a fan of the original due to the length, but my friends say I had an abnormally bad experience. I've since played it a few times online, and it did increase my appreciation for the game. But why not finally play the fancy H/AH version my friends already own?

If this was that good the first time around, I think I would've heard more about it. Still, it's a good and interesting theme.

Every year I see more of my old collection reprinted! This game is very light, too light for some, but I've always thought it was a lot of fun. Recommended. (Unlike Campanile.)

I really enjoy light sports games like StreetSoccer or HGSB, so here's hoping for one covering basketball (albeit at the team manager level).

All the games that have buzz, but not for me...
Just about all expansions, freebie or otherwise. (AoS, PowerGrid, Small World [definitely], Zooloretto, 10 Jahre Box..., TTR 1912) Even Chicago Express, a game I really enjoy
Dungeon Lords (As happy as I am for more designer countries, Chvaatil is not a must-buy for me, and the dungeon crawl theme is a turnoff)
Savannah Tails (still need to try Snow Tails, and I expect to like it, but I haven't liked any of the Lamont Games yet)
At the Gates of Loyang (Agricola was ok, but my opinion dropped with Le Havre. This style of game just isn't a favorite.)
BGG Game - Happy for BGG & all, but sounds like more of an inside joke or promotion than a great game in its own right.
Shipyard (not quite lured by the theme into what's probably a pretty mechanistic game)
Pony Express (Faidutti doesn't design the games I generally like, and the cartoony artwork doesn't inspire, but the western theme could redeem this, especially if the dice mechanics are good)
Maria (very interesting, but I haven't even played Freidrich yet)
Assyria (theme still appeals, but Ystari is too hit or miss for me)
Power Grid Factory Manager (the artificialness of this "franchise" is a turnoff, although I really enjoy Power Grid [despite almost never playing it!])
Wallace's new games (if they're out). Though my appreciation for Wallace has increased, he's not a must-buy until I have a chance to play first (and then consider how often we'll play the game).
Masters of Venice. Though I appreciate R&R doing a "serious" euro, I've heard mixed things about this one.
Tarantel Tango - I really love this artwork, but every game after Kakerlaken Poker in this "series" has been a speed recognition game.
Adventurers - Wait & see on this publisher moving into a new area.
