Well... it's not really a 3-d version of Clue, it has little to do with Clue other than the branding, but I gladly teach this every chance I get. I think it went over well as a quick filler game(which is all I ever think of it as) and for once I actually escaped as the thief with four pieces of art. The only other round of this we played ended fairly quickly with Jean being thief and being captured after grabbing one piece of art.

No one in the group had played this yet. I will have to give a very big thumbs up to the rules summary prepared by UniversalHead and posted in the BGG file section for the game. Afshin had printed copies of these and they made the rulebook almost unnecessary.

Actually, I'm the "Mike N." when I'm really "Mike A." but I said my full last name of ANino and the N's in that like to push all the other letters out of the way, so it's fully understandable. I had a good time even playing even though I've once again realized that I am terrible at this game. My strategy of "don't spend too much, and be a nice person" doesn't seem to work too well in these cut throat type games it seems.

I hear you bro-it's tough to play every 3-4 months against those who play monthly or more. Ah well, I just slather on the chum and go swimming with the sharks I do so love RRT

First game I'd played with the new expansion. And the jury is still out since we didn't even make it to New Caprica. Ugly loss for the humans as we were boarded by several Cylons. Our last hope was Afshin in the Armory, but when we gave him an executive order, he revealed and it was lights out when the next crisis card activated the Cylons on the ship.

This was a lot more fun than I expected. Neither of us had played before. Best moments:

I ended up imprisoned early on and spent a lot of time encountering my jailers. I finally escaped, and was deemed an outlaw. However, I was already an outlaw for rashly attacking a prince during my first encounter in the game, so, because it was my second outlaw status, I was sent back to prison. Thankfully, Afshin waived that effect and I moved on normally.

Late in the game, Afshin encountered angry mermen at sea. They were merciful and just threw him overboard rather than kill him. Eventually, he was rescued by pirates who planned to ransom him. Unfortunately, the pirates learned he was crippled so they instead spent their time tormenting him, then they threw him overboard in a barrel and tossed stuff at him until he sunk and drowned. - boy, that sounds grim writing it, but it was a pretty enjoyable game experience.

this game has sounded fascinating everytime I've read about it.

Oh man, I really want to check this game out. I hope I can make it to a future meet-up soon where it's going to be played.
