Welcome everyone to the December Edition of the Geekgold for Game Lottery. Thanks Blott for the amazing Idea and thanks everyone who took part last time.
These are the Rules
How to bid for an item?
If you see an item on this geeklist that you're interested in owning:
1. It couldn't be more simple. Just tip that entry 1 and you are entered to win that game.
2. Check the description to see if you are allowed more than one entry on the item.
How to put an item on the lottery?
If you have a game that you're willing to part with for a little geekgold:
1. Post it as an item on the list.
2. Include a full description of the edition that you have and its condition. Be very clear on conditions, marks and box
3. Specify if you will be limited in shipping options. If you ship internationally, if the shipping is on you, and if so how much.
4. Specify when your item will close for entries.
5. You can post both RPG Items and Boardgames.
6. The item must be draw before 31st of December 2009
What to do when the lottery ends?
1. When closed, draw a random name from those that have tipped your entry. If you allowed multiple entries remember to take it in consideration.
2. Contact that person and arrange shipment of the game.
3. Send them the game.
4. Edit your geeklist item on this list with a note saying that "THIS ITEM IS CLOSED!" and to put the avatar of the winner, use the code [ username=name_of_winner] (without the space) for that.
5. When an item is closed I will move it to the bottom of the list. Please don't delete them
How to find the winner?
You can use any fair method you like, like putting the names on a hat and drawing it.

1. Got to the url by clicking here.
2. When you mouseover on the number of your item, you get a URL like this

Your item id is the number after item, in this case it would be 1043139
3. As for bonus, for now the system can only work with given 1 for a given number of . For example, every 5 gets you 1 bonus.
4. You can limit too the amount of a user will be able to use to enter the contest

Special Note #1: If you are giving an item, there is no guarantee for number of entrants. You must be prepared to give away your game even if you only receive a single geekgold entry. Do not enter a game unless you are prepared for that outcome!!

I don't know about you, but I don't think that's fair. So, this is my way of helping our benefactor enjoy a little bit of the fruits of his own labor. Please read the rules below carefully.
Rules #1: The winner of this lottery will receive a $50 gift certicifate from any worldwide online gaming retailer they prefer. Obviously open to everyone.
Rule #2: For every GG tipped to this lottery, 50% will go directly to Sol. We truly appreciate your wonderful efforts to make this geeklist enjoyable for everyone else. Now, instead of dipping into the BGG Admin's GG cookie jar, please join us in the fun.
Sweetner: If the pot reaches over 5000 GG, I will choose a second winner to receive another $50 gift certicifate. Please be generous and let's show Sol some love.

To clarify how the numbers work more specifically. On any numbers greater than 25gg, I guess I would subtract in increments of 25gg from it for 100 entries each, then use the same process all the way down. If it's a number smaller than 25, the same process would apply using the largest increment it contains. Here are some examples.

41gg = 146 entries
56gg = 211 entries
77gg = 302 entries

Glad you got it! I knew the free international shipping was going to bite me in the ass sooner or later. My other lotto for Lost Cities is going international too. 
So here is the second expansion I'm offering for Arkham Horror. Yes it's an awesome game but my playgroup never wants to play it because of game length, so the expansions have never hit the table. Curse of the Dark Pharaoh is currently listed on last month's lottery and I will be listing one expansion each month for the next 4 months since I bought all 6 before finding out that my gaming group never wants to play it. My loss is hopefully your gain.

Sure! You could pay over ten bucks for a vaguely playable "the first hit isn't free" introductory pack, or you could get *eight* Magic common decks of long out-of-print cards! Each deck is 60-cards, and contains one or two colors, and the occasional artifact. Cards are from sets including and before Weatherlight (ie. 2000 and earlier), with the "old" (non-retarded) card layout.
TERMS:

Another great game by FFG. When I won a copy here, I was surprised as anyone as I didn't enter many chances. As luck would have it, I already owned the game, and I have no need for 2 copies. The rules are a little hard to digest at first, but once you get the hang of the game, it is a lot of fun.

The king of old school fantasy board games. This is the black industries 4th edition version of the game, but I will track down a copy of the "upgrade pack" to include with the game so it will be compatible with the expansions produced by FFG. One of my absolute favorite games but I own the FFG version so this just sits on my shelf and collects dust.

Yeah, it's the wood version, but it is still fully playable and in perfect condition. It also comes in that really small box making it the perfect travel game. What's up for lottery?
This is the original print run for Adventurer: Card Game. It is the "Limited Edition" print run, as I got it straight from the designer at GTS 2008, before he had a distributor. Some of the cards were mis-sliced in the first run, so it isn't in the best shape. But it plays fine, and the cards aren't "marked" enough by the mis-cut to throw the game. The game has also been played quite frequently, so there is some "usage" on the cards, but nothing like M:tG cards from late 1993 before people realized there was value in that game.
I also have some bonus cards that Kevin Burgoine gave to me as a bonus when I got the game from him, including a neat little card designed by Gary Gygax before he passed.
When?
I will do the drawing sometime on December 15th, around noon, so that the winner can get the game before the Holiday.
How much to enter?
This is that standard "one entry for one " drawing with a single bonus entry for every 5 tipped.

What Will You Get?
This auction is for an unused copy of the Ghost Stories promo card: Chuck No-Rice. Add him to your Ghost deck for a game and both you and the Ghosts can be fearful of 'The Chuck'! This was originally released at GenCon 09 but was also available at Essen 09.
