As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you, now remain in my love. You did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit, fruit that will last. -- Jesus Christ
This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty but as always: add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad™ and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.
The Weekly Thrift List Wayback Machine The Grand Vizier is maintaining a list of all the weekly thrift lists through time, and will be adding stats and interesting tidbits for each week. http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/48522
RPG Thrift List This list and all future thrift find lists are officially closed to RPG items. There is a new, monthly RPG only list, which can be found here: http://rpg.geekdo.com/geeklist/48560

It's my first find in a couple months! I was going pretty steady there so this has to be the longest dry spell in my career. It's not the polystone addition, but this is my first cathedral find so I'm happy.
Another one! This time $8.03 at the Missouri-council-for-the-blind-etc. on Olive, all toys 1/2 off. Yeay! It came with 4 figures from Heroscape Expansion Set: Zanafor's Discovery also. Double Yeay! Glad I got a bin for this. The small people are full of joy.
I saw this earlier when I picked up Carcassonne. However, it was more $$$ than I wanted to spend. However, after deliberating with my wife, I went back and got it. We're not doing family gifts this Christmas, so maybe we'll play a game about giving gifts instead!
$9.99 at Value Village. It looks barely, if at all, played. Two of the four gift decks are still sealed.
$1 at local thrift store. The compact version without the bathtub or metal wrenches (has cardboard wrenches instead). I may leave this at work to see if I can talk anyone in to playing it. Since I already have the other version, I justified it as being my "travel" version.
$1.38 at local GW. My oldest (6) is really getting in to drawing so I thought this might be fun to try. Also picked up another Puzz 3D in hopes to put a lot together soon. This one was the Empire State Building.
$1.38 at local GW. For some reason has another set of chess pieces in the box. I am excited to try this with my daughter to start teaching her the basics of chess. I also picked up two other chess sets: one a nice folding vintage Pressman "tournament" set and a large wooden board (19x19") with a felt tray in the bottom with large (4" king) weighted pieces. Both were only $2.38. Did I need 3 more chess sets?
Today at GW I found Blokus Trigon for $2. It's just missing one piece.
It's the last 5-triangle piece in the row. Anyone have a spare?
Later in the day I was doing some pre-Thanksgiving prepping at Fred Meyer. I noticed Blokus Duo (actually Blokus Duo) was on sale for $10. I figured that was a good price to pick it up for a future gift. Good thing I did too. I just made the limit for the free turkey. I think the sale runs through Saturday.
