After the great response I received from my original list (Tricks of the Geek) I thought there might be some more things that people aren't aware of on this site. Frankly, the site's always changing so there are always new tricks that people may or may not know about. Sure, I could have just added these new tips to the old list. But I thought adding a new list would grab the attention of more new users who may have missed the original list (which was almost a year and a half ago now.)

Please add your own...but make sure you check the original list to verify that it hasn't already been shared.

Here's the original list which is just loaded with information. If you haven't checked it out yet and you have questions that aren't answered on this list, they're probably answered there. If you still have an unanswered question about using this website please post it in the Comments to this item.

I've seen many people ask how you post a microbadge in a forum post. It's really not difficult...

Step 1: Find the number of the microbadge. This number is part of the URL of the microbadge, which you can find in a number of different ways.

Step 2: When you have the number simply plug it into this formula in place of the #s (and without the space) - [microbadge =####].

So, if you want to show the Geek of the Week microbadge in a post you simply type [microbadge =232] without the space and you have...mb

I think a lot of users still aren't familiar with the new "Insert Geek Link" option that appears whenever you are posting something. Whether you're aware of it or not, there are multiple different web addresses that people use to browse this site. Some use www.boardgamegeek.com, some use www.geekdo.com, some use www.bgg.cc, and so forth. But, because of this variation from user to user, when you are posting a link to another part of the site with a specific url, you may be directing some users to a completely different domain for the site.

The Geek Link system has fixed all of that. All you need to do is click on "Insert Geek Link" and then choose, from the list, which type of item you are trying to link to. After clicking on the item it will give you a couple of boxes.

Box #1 (ID) = In this box you must put the number of the item you are trying to link which you can find in the url of that item (the only exception is Board Game, where you can look up the name of the game instead of the number.) Example: The number for this geeklist item (from the url) is 1157423. I can click on "Insert Geek Link," and then select "Geeklist Item," and then enter 1157423 in the ID box. Then when I click "Go" I am given something that looks like this [ listitem=1157423][ /listitem]. And when I post, it will look like this in my message: Item for Geeklist "More Tricks of the Geek" .

Box #2 (Link Text (optional)) = In this box you can type a word or phrase that will appear in place of the normal link text. Continuing the Example: I don't want my post to call it Item for Geeklist "More Tricks of the Geek" . Therefore, when I create the link I will type in the Link Text box "How to use Insert Geek Link." Now when I click on "Go" I am given something that looks like this [ listitem=1157423]How to use Insert Geek Link[ /listitem]. And when I post, it will look like this in my message: How to use Insert Geek Link.

What makes this great is that a link created this way will allow people to click on your link and remain in whatever domain they are already browsing with. In other words, people on geekdo will be given a geekdo link, and people on boardgamegeek will be given a boardgamegeek link, and people on bgg.cc will be given a bgg.cc link, etc.

Not to be a complainer, but I wish it was easier to use Insert Geek Link than to just paste a URL. For games it is easier because it allows you to look up the game by name, but for other kinds of items it's a bit of a pain to go get just the number and transcribe it into the ID box. I'm always afraid I'll drop a digit or otherwise screw it up.

Nevertheless I'm glad to learn about the domain-independence feature. It gives me a good reason to use Insert Geek Link in spite of a bit of clumsiness.

True, but I think it was correct on IE8.

I think everyone is starting to get familiar with the Subscription/Notification system. It's really made finding content (that you're interested in) much easier. All you have to do is click that word "Subscribe" on a thread, geeklist, game page, etc.. But there are a few things that I think some people don't realize:

#1 - You can subscribe to another user. Do you want to see what your best friend is doing on the geek? Do you want to follow any thread that Aldie posts? Simply click the little arrow below their user name and in that drop-down there is a "Subscribe" option. Then you will be notified whenever they post something.

#2 - You can block certain forums, threads, etc. if you don't want any notifications from them. So, let's say you never want to end up in Chit Chat, but you want to subscribe to all of Jeff Wiles other posts. Simply go to the forum list and click the little arrow next to "Subscribe" across from Chit Chat. In that drop-down is an option that says "Block". Then, when you subscribe to Jeff Wiles, you will only get notification when he posts somewhere other than Chit Chat.

#3 - You can change/manage your subscription preferences here. On this page you can make it so you won't receive notification of certain items. For instance, when you're subscribed to a game, you can set it so you won't receive notifications every time there is an image added. You can even go here and manage the subscription on a per item basis. Just click on the arrow next to Unsubscribe and select "Edit Subscription." This way you can adjust it so that, even though your default is to not receive image notifications, you will receive them for your favorite game.

A lot of people have asked how to put polls into geeklists (and it only got covered in the comment section on the original list.) It's really quite simple.

1. Create a new forum thread, and within that thread create a poll you want to use for a geeklist item.

2. Once you save the poll it will give you an entry that looks like this [poll=#####] in your post.

3. Copy that and then don't post the forum thread. Then paste the [poll=#####] into the geeklist item.

By this method you can take polls just about anywhere on this site. You can post them in geeklists, you can geekmail them, etc.

Example:

Poll: The 76th TGIF Poll

I think some people are unaware that BGG is set up so that you can customize what you see on the front page (and on other pages too.) First of all, if you go here you can choose to not view microbadges. Some people like not seeing that flair at the bottom of everybody's avatar. You can also set a default to only see the geeklist items when you go in a geeklist and hide all the comments. And you can choose to not view recent or "hot" games.

Next, if you go here you can pick and choose what you'd like to see on the homepage when you come to BGG/Geekdo. Maybe you like Chit Chat and want to keep an eye on all "Off Topic" discussions. Maybe you only want to see "Hot" geeklists instead of the recent ones. Maybe you even want to see the 25 most recent forum threads instead of only 10. All these can be set on this page.

Finally, if you look near the top of your Profile page, there is a way you can purchase Adblock by donating to the site with money or geekgold. When you've purchased that right, you can go here and turn on and off any and all advertisements that you are sick of seeing.

You can also customize how you view game pages... go to Any Game and in the Board Game Entry section, on the right hand side... is a link to Customize View... this allows you to set what order you see things in on the game page, and whether they are open or closed by default...

My favourite is to put the user information section right at the top, but have it closed... most of the time I go to a game page I just want to see the game details, but if I want to edit my info, a simple click on the + to expand the User Information allows me quick and easy access.

7. Board Game: Surprise! [Average Rating:5.75 Unranked]

My trick is related to the "Insert Geek Link" function and which I discovered accidentally.

Let's say I want to insert a geeklink here...OK I'll add a boardgame:
Hansa Teutonica. As you can see the name of the game is also the link.

When you look at this in an edit or quote function you will see:

[thing=43015 ][/thing ] ........(with no spaces).

I discovered that if you type something between the 2 different brackets that whatever you type will show up as the link name instead of the name of the item.

So in order to surprise folks or whatever, I could type the words: "Game I received from Super Secret Santa and Super Secret Elf" between the brackets--with no spaces!

[thing=43015 ]Game I received from Super Secret Santa and Super Secret Elf[/thing ]

When I do, the result looks like this, but still links to Hansa Teutonica:
Game I received from Super Secret Santa and Super Secret Elf

You can have fun with this!! Some more examples:
Our absolute favorite!
Thanks Amy & Jeff Wiles!
My next game purchase!
Winners Announced & Awarded!

The great thing about this is that you don't have to actually click on it to see what it is. If you mouseover the text, you will see the name of the game, thread, etc. in your navigation bar on your screen (you need to have the navigation toolbar active/checked on your browser!).

My brother was actually the one who tipped me off on this one. If you want a different way of searching for games in your collection (or even ones that you've played but don't own) this is the tool for you.

1. Go to your profile page and click on the number next to "Board Game Ratings."

2. When on this page, just above the list of games there's a spot that says "Download", and next to that is 2 links: "all" and "owned". If you want to look at just games you own, click on "owned." If you want to look at games on your wishlist, games you've played but don't own, etc. then click on "all."

3. This will download a .csv file that you can view with Excel or other spreadsheet programs.

Through this spreadsheet you can find all kinds of information about the games you have recorded any information about. You can sort by date published, or the BGG recommended # of players, or the Bayesian average, etc. Want to know which games you've played that were first published in 2005, just check that column and it will include any game you've logged a play for even if you don't own the game (one of the things you cannot search with "Adv. Search")

But...for some reason, you can no longer download the publisher data (which used to be included, and now is no longer...) Completely made working with the downloaded file about twice as time-consuming for me as it was before.

Or you can use WhatToPlay. It's a program that lets you load your whole game collection (owned, rated, commented, whatever you'd like) and view information about each game. (A bit of shameless self-promotion, but it seems relevant.)

Can I export from WhattoPlay into CSV again?

I keep my collection in a Filemaker DB - it's good to be able to import my collection data from the geek via CSV right to my DB. But, if WhattoPlay captures the publisher data and then export (i.e., more functionality than what's built into the geek) then it looks like it could be an effective work-around.

9. Board Game: The Game of Tag - You're It! [Average Rating:5.00 Unranked]
Maarten D. de Jong

Avatar
Sometime ago, a fellow geek wanted to be able to filter his wishlist according to certain criteria, for example the year a game was added to the list, or the availability during conventions. But BGG doesn't really allow you to do that from within the wishlist view. You could tag the games in question, true, but you can't recall the tags once you view the wishlist.

There is, however, a way to implement a crude tagging functionality to do the above. You can only add three tags this way. Bring up a game, then double click the private info field. Enter a negative amount for the price paid. The exact value is up to you. For example, you could decide on a negative year being the year you added the game to your wishlist. Or -1 being 'want to play during Spiel', -2 'want to look at it during Spiel', and so forth. Obviously, once you settle on a scheme for one field (say, price paid), you can't use another for that field. So you're limited to three types of tags, as there are three fields (price paid, current value, acquisition date) you can abuse for your own purposes. I use negative values so they don't conflict with genuine positive values, although there is nothing against you using unrealistically large or small positive numbers. After all, a game will not cost in excess of $500, for example. Well, not normally meeple.

In order to filter your wishlist for a specific tag, you just click the Filter link on the top left of the wishlist page, and fill out the proper values in the private fields. And hey presto, your wishlist filtered to a 'tag' of your choosing. The only issue with this trick is that you must remember the meaning of a value instead of seeing a word.

As I type this I realise there is a way to use multiple tags for one field value: just add more copies of the same game to your wishlist. The standard view of the wishlist will look very odd if unfiltered, though.

Again, WhatToPlay would come in handy here. Just choose to load Wishlist items, then use the filters to filter or sort columns (in grid view) to sort.

EDIT: I stand corrected. I'll see if I can improve this in a future update.

After learning that the application doesn't install in user mode on my ageing Win2K system wanting admin privileges instead (hmmhmm), and then toying with it for a few minutes, I have to report that no, what I describe above is not possible using your app. I offer a way to filter according to some arbitrary standard which is not present in the database. WhatToPlay doesn't present me with an option to filter according to tags or my private info.

Nice coding job, though.

Further to this item on links, did you know you can also edit your Quickbar links so that instead of saying:

http: // www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/50373/item/1157423#item1157423

or

http: // www.geekdo.com/geeklist/50373/item/1157423#item1157423

they simply say:

/geeklist/50373/item/1157423#item1157423

This way you will stay on whichever domain you are currently browsing, be it www.boardgamegeek.com or www.geekdo.com! wow cool

Here's another permutation that pseudotheist just showed me.

If you want to quicklink to the newest items in a forum (I use it for PBF games) just add "/new" to the end of the forum link. for example.

/thread/521753/bsg-77-a-new-hope

becomes

/thread/521753/bsg-77-a-new-hope/new

Alternately, if you want to bookmark a specific page (far less useful):

/thread/521753/bsg-77-a-new-hope/page/5

Want to see the avatars of everyone who thumbed this list or any other thumbed page you're viewing?

1. Find an unused QuickBar entry.
2. Click the "QuickBar" header to edit links.
3. In an open label field, type "ThumbedBy".
4. In the accompanying URL field copy and paste this entire quote (emoticon included) as one line:
Quote:
javascriptfunction(){url=location.href;pos1=url.indexOf('/',location.protocol.length+2);pos2=url.indexOf('/',pos1+1);pos3=url.indexOf('/',pos2+1);type=url.substring(pos1+1,pos2);id=url.substring(pos2+1,pos3);location='http://'+location.host+'/geekrecommend.php?action=whorecommends&itemid='+id+'&itemtype='+type;})();

5. Click "Save". Now on many thumb-able pages (geeklists, reviews, etc.) you can get an avatar list of users who have thumbed it by clicking your ThumbedBy link.

[edit: forgot to mention save.]

This bit of javascript was recently brought to my attention. Although, it didn't work for individual posts, geeklist items, comments to geeklist items, etc. Here is a modified version that works in more places.

javascript: (function(){type = '';id = '';url=location.href;pos = url.lastIndexOf('#');if (pos >= 0){substr = url.substring(pos+1);type = /[^0-9]+/.exec(substr);id = /[0-9]+/.exec(substr);if (!type){end = url.lastIndexOf('/');start = url.lastIndexOf('/', end-1);type = url.substring(start+1,end);}}else{end = url.lastIndexOf('/');start = url.lastIndexOf('/', end-1);id = url.substring(start+1,end);end = start;start = url.lastIndexOf('/', end-1);type = url.substring(start+1, end);}if(type=='item')type='listitem';if(id && type)location='http://'+location.host+'/geekrecommend.php?action=whorecommends&itemid='+id+'&itemtype='+type;})();

I posted this as a comment earlier on this list, but as suggested it really does need it's own entry....

Customize Game Page View

One of the really neat features of the site for me, is that you can customize how you view game pages!

Go to the page for Any Game, and in the Board Game Entry section, on the right hand side... is a link to Customize View... this allows you to set what order you see the sections on the game page, and whether they are open or closed by default...

My favourite is to put the user information section right at the top, but have it closed... most of the time I go to a game page I just want to see the game details, but if I want to edit my info, a simple click on the + to expand the User Information allows me quick and easy access.

Game page and Customise link:

boardgamegeek is one of the most customisable sites that I know of... and it's amazing what you can do to tailor the site to how you want it. In addition to customising the game pages, and the front page, you can also massively Customise your Collection View

The term collection here means any games that you have recorded information about... logged plays, rated, own, on wishlist... so in order to see games listed in different categories and so on, you need to customise your collection view... go to your collection page, and look at the top left for the Filters, Columns and Views buttons!!

Filters

Filters allow you to choose which games are shown based on certain criteria... do you own them? or have you rated them? etc.. you can set as many or as few of these as you wish...

Columns

This allows you to select which bits of information are shown for each game... I like to see a thumbnail, so I add that column... you might want to see version info.. or your private info... all these can be added to your collection view.

Views

All these filters and columns are great, but it would be a pain to adjust all these every time right? So you can use views to save your settings... there are a few default views provided, but then you can create your own... simply set the collection view how you want using the filters and columns, then use views > save as to create an entry for your new collection view. I actually have two that I created.. one for my collection and one for my wishlist, with various added columns etc.

Add to Quickbar
Perhaps you don't want to use the views, but fancy saving a link to your custom collection on your quickbar instead... there's a way to do that too... once you've changed the filters and columns for your collection view, look for the permalink on the top right hand side... you can either right-click and copy link location.. or left click and copy the URL from the address bar.... then add this as an entry to your quickbar and you have a shortcut to your favourite collection view(s)

Just Thumbnails
Fancy just seeing a gallery of your game thumbnails... there's a button for that too...

This is a meta-trick.

You're trying to help someone out by showing them how to do some trick in BGG. For example, how to post an avatar:

Timothy Hunt
United States
St Louis
Missouri
Avatar
mbmbmbmbmb

You tell them:
[username = Timotheous] (but without the spaces)

How ugly is that?

You really want to tell them to put
[username=Timotheous]

as that looks much neater, and is exactly what you want them to put!

"How the heck do you do that?" I hear you say. Easy. Just fool BGG into thinking that your username tag isn't a tag at all, by inserting zero-width, zero-net-effect tags inside it.

The code I used for the above username example is this:

[[b][/b]username=Timotheous]

It can get confusing, so use the preview button frequently. (Note, don't nest the ['s too deeply as you'll start getting into BGG wiki notation, which confuses things further.)

You can also use the html values for the characters, but I guess that means remembering what they are, or keeping handy a website that has a table for you to look them up. I never thought about trying it your way, then I don't have to remember the specific values all the time.

[ = [
] = ]

Example: [user=monkeyboy157][/user]

Oh, here is a link to a table to look up values.

Continuing the theme of personalization - did you know you can have BGG display a specific image for a game in your collection view?

Simply go to the User Information section of a game, and click on "Version." This allows you to select the image you want displayed. (It helps to go hunt for the specific one first so you don't have to search for it in this smaller view.) While you're here you can also choose the publisher, language, year and more.

Once you've saved that change, do a view of your collection with images as mentioned by Andy above. You'll notice that the new image is now displaying for you. It's your own personal representative image! This image will also be the one displayed if you use the recently played games widget for your profile.

You don't even have to do this for games that you own. For example, in the past my family owned the 3M version of Bazaar and I love the cover art. But whenever I looked at my previously owned games I got that Discovery Toys image instead. By selecting the 3M image under Version, now I see it all the time.

NOTE - this will not change things when another user adds an item to a geeklist. They choose what image to display at the moment they add the item. It will also not change the main representative image for a game (that has to be voted on through the geekmod process).

I think the magnifier is a result of the games in his list having wider boxes than the ones in mine. Usually the magnifier is automatically added if an image is over a certain width.

I did notice that when I set the size of my pictures to medium, the magnifier was very useful.

What I was really wanting to know is this...
I want to put together a string of my own photos and have the magnifier attached to those. Is there a widget for that? I can't find one.

This one is not so much a trick of the geek, but a trick of pretty much any search engine anywhere - however, this question is asked pretty frequently here:

"How do I search the forums without getting all the replies?"

It's pretty easy. In the search box, just type -re: after your search term. I.e., exclude from the search anything that contains re: (which all replies contain).

The various BGG and Geekdō domains are all interlinked. Sometimes you'll follow a link that will take you to a different domain because the link's author hasn't made use of the flexibility of relative references. This may annoy you if you prefer one particular flavour of Geekdō.

There is a solution! Read on and delight in the knowledge...

How to quick link to the domain of your choice

These instructions tell you how to add a link to your Quick Bar so that you can (with one click) change the domain of the page at which you are currently looking.

In your Quick Bar at the top of the screen, select the number of the page in which you want to place this fantastic link.

Then select the "Quick Bar" text itself in order to directly edit the contents of that page of links.

Choose the row of data in which you want to enter your link. Note that these boxes are listed in the order {left first, right first, left second, right second...}.

In the text box on the left place the text that you wish to display (for example "Switch domain").

In the text box on the right place the following text all on one line (I've broken it up just to prevent the page from getting too wide):
javascript:(function(){location=location.protocol
+'//domain'+location.pathname+location.hash+location.search;})();

(Note: copy this from the displayed text right here, as opposed to the underlying text that appears if you quote what I've written. That's because I've used a character reference to prevent the above text from displaying with an emoticon and embedded link.)

Replace the emboldened "domain" text with one of the various site domains, depending on your preference. Current examples include:
boardgamegeek.com
wargamegeek.com
rpggeek.com
videogamegeek.com
bgg.cc

Press the "Save" button, and you're done.

Now whenever you visit any page on any of the domains covered by this set of sites, you can switch to the equivalent page on your favourite domain just by clicking on that link in your Quick Bar.

You're welcome.

I had noticed that the code I gave didn't work in all situations. It was dropping the part of the URL after a "#" or "?". I've updated the code listed above and it should now be robust enough to cope with all possible permutations of URL.

Apologies if the text is now too wide for your screen.

When you use the Quote functionality in a post, you can edit the name of the person you are quoting and turn it into a link. I use this when I have quoted something from a different thread or indeed from an external website.

You want your quote tag to look something like this for an internal link:
[q="[link]Person's name[/link]"]Quotation in here.[/q]

If you're quoting a specific post, you can find the post number and type from the link at the bottom right of the post where the date of posting is. For replies to threads, this will be an [article]. In this case you want the opening Quote tag to look like:
[q="[article=...]Person's name[/article]"]

Here's a specific example of that:

wavemotion wrote:
Welcome to the RPG Geek! If you are a new user or are wandering over from the Board Game Geek (BGG) side of things, this is where you should start.

Remember that you can still use the Geek Link functionality of the forum posting interface as well. So you can just highlight the name and add the appropriate link directly. Or indeed insert a Geek Link yourself. Try quoting this post by me to see the underlying code.

A learning experience is one of those things that say, "You know that thing you just did? Don't do that."

Of course there's no option to quickly quote a geeklist item so I'll put the examples in this comment as well, where you can just click on "Quote".

Now you can float a photo on the left of the post and put your commentary over here. Just put floatleft around the image like this:

[ floatleft] [ ImageID=540602] [ /floatleft]

Look! Float Right works as well!

edit: Don't miss the comments below,
floating works for just about anything.
Pictures, Avatars or even Text.

This just in!
The [ clear] tag will take you to the bottom of whatever you floated so you don't have to keep hitting return to get past those avatars or pictures.

edit again: Don't miss Tall_Walt's wonderful Table Thread.

I first noticed these on one of the PBF threads and been using them ever since... for yellow, green, red, and blue font, you can use these style tags instead to get color in. I've found them much easier to work with than the square brackets and "COLOR" keywords (click QuickQuote to actually see the tags).....

EDIT: That's right... GL item vs GL comment.... Anyways, either see the quotable comment below, or....
use this as a template, but remove all spaces on both sides of the curly braces. Substitute 'b' for blue, 'g' for green, and 'y' for yellow
r { SAMPLE TEXT } r

OR

"r|y|g|b" + "left/open curly brace" + "Text to be color-coded" + "right/close curly brace" + "matching r|y|g|b character"

EDIT2: FYI, you can mix and match uppercase and lowercase letters here. I use lowercase for situations for when I want easier readability of these tags, but uppercase makes it natural and quicker to type (you can hold down the shift key all the way since these '{' '}' require the shift key). It's much quicker and easier to type out "G { } G" (without the spaces of course ) than "g { } g".

Rebel Diplomacy

GREEN
Feline Uplift Race

YELLOW (although some end up doing it the hard way like this instead since this one is much easier to see and read.)

You can also get a wide variety of colors by naming them, using [COLOR= {name of color}], rather than having to put in the RGB code like 03E14B:

red
blue
green
yellow
black
darkgray
grey
gray
lightgrey
white
purple
violet
magenta
cyan
orange
teal
silver
gold
tan
lightblue
pink
darkblue
lightgreen
darkgreen
darkred
brown

Maybe more?

And it works for BGCOLOR, too:

red on lightblue
blue on gold
green on gray
yellow on black
white on purple
magenta on violet
teal on orange
cyan on silver
brown on tan
darkgreen on darkblue
lightblue on lightgreen
pink on darkred

Obviously, not all combinations are going to look good.

Search Families
This has been requested a few times in the forums. This trick requires javascript.

1. Find an open entry on your Quickbar (top right, any page).
2. Click "Edit" (topmost right)
3. Carefully copy the quoted bit below into a URL field, and enter a label in the matching field to its left.
4. Click Save.
5. Look for your new link on the Quickbar.

Quote:
javascript: (function(){OBJ_TYPE='boardgamefamily';name=prompt('Search '+OBJ_TYPE,'');if(name&&name!='')location='/geeksearch.php?action=search&objecttype='+OBJ_TYPE+'&q='+name;})();

Search People

You might also find it useful to make a second copy of the link above, but change 'boardgamefamily' to 'person' to search across artists and developers at the same time.

If you find other useful 'object type' searches, please let others know in a reply below.

I added a space to the quote to stop BGG's emoticon substitution. That might have been messing with your copy-paste. As long as you're careful to highlight "javascript" through final semicolon, you should be able to copy and paste. Geekmail me if you have trouble.

This link loads a geeklist item + the entire geeklist around it, including other items.

http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/50373/item/1157423#ite...

You also get this by using the [listitem] tag, under Insert Geek Link > Geeklist item, as detailed by entry #3 on this list.

However, this link:

http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/item/1157423#item11574...

will load only the specific geeklist item. In the case the original list is too cluttered with comments and takes too long to load, or you don't want other users to see the Busen Memo entry adjoining your item.

I know how to get that top link, but I never knew you could isolate a geeklist item all by itself. Very useful as you pointed out with the Memo example. How do you get that bottom link (aside from just copying and pasting your text and altering the item number)?

If I look for Hive under the general "geeklist" search, it finds it everywhere, every single mention, but what if I want to limit that to just on geeklist?

thanks.

And there are more tricks of the Geek than there are tricks IN the Geek. Sometimes, you just have to fiddle around, write some code, and voila. Something exists outside the Geek, but does make it a more beautiful and wonderous place. If you can stand the multitude of colors, that is.
