This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty but as always: add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad™ and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.
The Thrift Store/Bargain Finds List Wayback Machine: The Grand Vizier is maintaining a list of all the weekly lists through time. He is also adding stats and interesting tidbits for us thrifty geeks. Your Thrift Store Bargain Finds Through Time(includes links to previous lists)
Our GeekGuild: Welcome to The Ancient and Loyal Order of Thrifters. Enter the halls of thriftdom at your own risk. Please do mind the stacks of prized games, do not mention the musty smell and try not to sneeze. Make sure to bow before our King Minionhunter I.

A month or two ago, I found this at the Inova Fairfax thrift at Fairfax Circle. Well, I had the opportunity to drop in again today and to my amazement they had another one, complete. I played this with my son and it is a decent little abstract. I got it for $2.
This will be going onto my current purge list so a fellow geek can get it, with only a small mark-up as the opening bid.
The answer to your question is hinted at below. GM me for more details.
A quick stop at the DI this afternoon revealed a sealed package of Pass the Pigs. This one includes a bonus, "Pass the Pigs" pen. I don't see a photo of this pack, so I should get a out of this. Then it is off to the gift/trade stack. $1.00.
Got my copy at the Target clearance sale. $6.24, 75% off. Thanks, Bulldog. In fact, I bought two at that price to use the hexagonal markers for a couple of DIY games.
Remarkably, an employee at the Customer Service counter of my "friendly" local Target, which had sold all of its copies, checked store inventories and correctly told me another store that still had copies.
New and, of course, still sealed in shrink wrap.
