As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you, now remain in my love. You did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit, fruit that will last. -- Jesus Christ
This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty but as always: add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad™ and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.
The Weekly Thrift List Wayback Machine The Grand Vizier is maintaining a list of all the weekly thrift lists through time, and will be adding stats and interesting tidbits for each week. http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/48522

Hidden in the A&A:Europe box I mentioned above was a full set of tokens - mostly unpunched - for the first edition of this game. It's not the full game but it might be of interest to someone who wants to build their own copy or wants to replace their old worn tokens with this nice new ones.
Stratego at a garage sale today for 25 cents. 1960 edition with all the pieces. I played this a lot as a kid but I didn't have it anymore. It's one of the few games that I can convince other people to play because it's so simple.
When I got home and opened the board, a 1965 quarter fell out, so I guess it ended up being free.
Found this version of Memory at Family Thrift Center for $1.41. It appears to be in shrink still but only the bottom half. The lid can be lifted off, everything is in shrink underneath. It looks as though all the tiles and everything are there but I can't figure out if this was original shrink or re-done. Any clues?
Turns out it was in the database after all Must have mistyped the first time. The contents are still in shrink. $3.93 at the Silver Spring Value Village. I like space themes in my game and can see getting my kids to play this with me so it gets added to our collection.
Found this at a yard sale for $1.00. It's missing a few tokens, but I'm thinking about maybe pimping it out with some glass gems if I can't get replacement tokens. I got a chance to play it and it's a fun little filler with a bit of luck involved. I'll be keeping this one.
Yet another yard sale. I already have this, but needed to replace a broken player pawn, so it was worth the .50 cents I paid for it. I haven't inventoried it yet, but let me know if anyone needs any spare parts.
Went outside my territory yesterday and stopped at three different thrifts, but found nothing worth mentioning. Just the usual 23 copies of Sorry, 32 copies of Operation, 47 copies of Mousetrap.
Back here in E.C. this morning, however, I found a copy of Trumpet, and I seem incapable of leaving these behind if they look at all like they're in good condition. It's that six-suited deck that attracts me.
Edition 2.0 - complete including a promo card that they officially added to the 2nd edition set (Rune-Cast) - Many thanks to the BGG user who helped me with that (I had no idea why I had 1 more card than the back of the box/rules stated)
Free @ FLGS auction - this was in a bundle with a few others games. Some guy next to me said if I didn't bid on this lot he would give this game to me. I've seen it thrift stores a few times but left it behind.
$1.38 at the GW. One smushed box corner (now fairly straightened out) and lots of tape, most of which removed pretty nicely. (Hooray for shiny boxes!) Almost complete, like new components, with only the rules missing. Looks like 'L' and 'B' only played about half a game before they gave up on it.
