This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty but as always: add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad™ and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.
The Weekly Thrift List Wayback Machine The Grand Vizier is maintaining a list of all the weekly thrift lists through time, and will be adding stats and interesting tidbits for each week. http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/48522

This is the second, in shrink copy, I've purchased. This copy was $1. in shrink. The first copy is already showing wear. This game is fun and plays well with kids who can be a bit hard on cards. Glad to have a spare!.
The first thing I spied when I walked into "my" thrift store (Allentown Road Value Village) was Tiki Topple for $1.61. I've been patiently waiting for this one since I missed out on finding one at the B&N sale earlier this year. It's complete and looks untouched.
And what was down the aisle from it for only $2.42 but the poor man's pitch car! Another one that I've been patiently waiting for as I watch others thrift it. It also is complete and looks virtually unplayed with. I've been having such a steady stream of good finds lately that I'm going to miss my trusty thrift stores as I leave tomorrow for a week's vacation (with no checked baggage, meaning no room for thrift finds at my destination!). I can only hope that they'll just build up in my absence and be waiting for me when I return!
Well, it appears I haven't used up my thrift karma after last weeks finds (knock on wood). Found this at Value Village for $2.92. Box has slight dishing on top but the cards are still in shrink, the tokens unpunched and the labels have not been applied to the die.
Found at GW for $4.99. I've been off on vacation for a couple of weeks and was going into withdrawal. Its also the first Catan thing I've thrifted (outside CL) While I'm off, if anyone needs to be pew'd, you will have to wait. Or can someone proxy pew for me?
