3rd. Price: Bonus winner

Well, this one was the hardest one for me. I had 13 entries chosen and I had this secret thing in my mind I used to search for the third winner.
I looked for three things:
1) Congrats to me and Agnes
2) Correct entry
3) Great reasoning or story

I had some trouble of deciding here, because there were so many good ones, so I was able to choose 3 best ones and from them I randomly draw the winner. I'm sorry, I'm weak, I wish I could give you all something great.

So, the winner:

As for the price, I thought here many things, but this one is like the third price, so I will make it 15$ game winner choosing, so choose well.

I hope there is no hard feelings from all the rest participants.
I can tell you that this is not my last give away, so be on the alert.

I hope all the winner now can help me to get their games as cheap as possible, somewhere near them would be best.

THANK YOU ALL FOR TAKING PART IN THIS!

Hello, hello to all.

I wasn't planning to give away any games again any time soon, because I just had one give away after I got the Love Spreader award, but now I got another award - Geek Of The Week.
And to celebrate this I decided to give away 3 games to random user here on BGG.

Las time I had 5 items I chose random, but this I thought we could do something little more different. These games I offered last time might not be what you want, so this time we do the following:

First you could thumb this list to keep this on the first page as long as possible.
Then you add here geek list item with the name of the game you wish to have. Only rule is that the game should cost less than 60$ (because I will pay the shipping too). Then write short about why you want this game. This might be just few words, but I would love to read them all. And to the end add a second game you would like, if for some reason your first choice wasn't picked as winner. I will make the first item as example for you all anyways.
The second game you add should be valued less than 30$ (again, I will pay for shipping)

Drawing: I will draw this item on the 5th of September, because this is Agnes's birthday (user LilyGirl). Drawing will be easy - use random number generator to pick two users.
1st. winner will get the game he/she listed as item.
2nd. winner will get the game he/she wrote as second choice.

Bonuses: This wouldn't be as fun without bonuses. Same bonus as last time - for every 0.5 tip to this geek list you will be added to the draw one additional time.

Bonus 2:
Who will write me best reason/story/words why he/she wants the main listed game and for some reason don't win, will get something special from me. Maybe something off her/his wish list as third winner.

Things to remember:

1. Recommend this list.
2. Add item with game in 60$ dollars, write short reason and then add second game under 30$
3. You can get additional bonus for 0.5 for tipping the list.
4. Check back with the list around 5th of September, Agnes's birthday.

Good luck.

PS! Edit: Everyone check your entries. Check that games are cheaper than the numbers I wrote before. If it is more expensive, I hope you have solution written there (like you are willing to pay for shipping), because I will not accept the offer to pay the difference to me, because the shipping is more expensive for larger and more expensive games. You can offer to pay for shipping.
Also check that you have selected only one game for 60 and 30 dollars, so total of 2 games. I will not accept a list of games to choose from. Choose now or later I will draw your name and you have there a large number of games, I will draw another winner.
Also everyone who has entered their wishes as comments, make them as geeklist items as well.
Drawing will be later today, Sunday the 5th...

WHY?

For my first game I have decided to follow the running trend and go with this one. I got to play this for the first time at the summer stabcon in stockport and enjoyed it so much I made sure I got a second play before the end of the weekend.

Second game: I am going to go for.... Airships

I have played this on a few occasions and have had it in my wish list for a long time. It's a fun little game and I really should get myself a copy of this.

My first choice would be Roborally. This one can be picked up for less than $60 from most online dealers.
I have always loved this game and the expandability is great with all the variant boards that can be made. I am glad they reprinted this as it allows for more people to get this great game.

My second choice would be Red November. This little FFG gem has a lot packed into its small case.

What an amazing display of generosity! I'm always amazed at the kindness of the folks on the geek. It's really remarkable.

Anyway, without further ado...

1. Founding Fathers

I'm an impoverished political writer for a couple different newspapers. I'm generally of the belief that if more people knew what went into the creation of my country, it would be far, far, better off. I'm not entirely sure how much accuracy is in this game, but as a constitutional scholar, I'm dying to try it out.

2. Timber Tom

In a similar vein, I admire the pioneering spirit of this game. Not just subject matter, mind you, but the fact that someone went out there, made this themselves, marketed it themselves, and it's actually good! That's what the US is supposed to be all about if you ask me. (and yes, I'm well aware the game is French)

Congratulation on the Geek of the Week nod and Thank You for this most generous contest.

My choice is Castle Ravenloft

If I win this I am giving it to a good friend of mine who is currently out of work. He and I used to play D&D religiously together growing up and the Ravenloft setting was always one of our favorites. When I heard this game was coming out I jumped to pre-order it. When I showed the game on BGG to my friend he was also juiced up to get it so he could share the game with his boys. Unfortunately he got laid off do to some downsizing at his company and he had to cancel his pre-order.

My second choice is Through the Desert...cause who doesn't like little wooden camels?

Thanks again and congrats!!

My pick #1 is Age of Empires III. Why?

Because I promised myself that I would never buy nothing related to Microsoft in any way... so I've been waiting that somebody (my girlfriend, my friends, parents, boardgamegeeks of the week...) gave this to me as a present.
I'm still waiting, as you can imagine...

My pick #2 is Combat Commander: Battle Pack #3 - Normandy
The reason is that I'd love to get these extra contents for CC:E, but at the moment it's very expensive to buy from the USA (in Spain, wargames are too expensive, normally). I love to buy at good prices, so I think I'll have to wait until Euro recovers (no card in hand, indeed...)

First Item: Rum and Pirates. I'm desperately trying to fulfill the wants of my OCD and complete my Alea Big Box set. It would also be happy to receive: Chinatown (Alea version), Hoity Toity (Alea version), Eiszeit (would need to be the Alea german version because the Rio Grande doesn't have the Alea Big Box number) or the Alea versions of Ra or Taj Mahal.

As a sweetener...if I were to somehow win this and get the Alea versions of Ra or Taj Mahal I would "re-gift" the copy I currently own of the game free of charge to another participant on this list.

As for the 2nd item: Any of the Alea small box except for San Juan.

Thanks for doing this and I hope you choose me and I can repay the favour to someone else.

Why? - Raiko, years ago you served my father in the Shrimp Wars; now he begs you to help him in his struggle against Evil Shrimp Empire. I regret that I am unable to present my father's request to you in person; but my reef has fallen under attack and I'm afraid my mission to bring you to my reef has failed. I've placed Geeklist item of Reef Encounter boardgame, vital to the survival of the rebellion in the memory systems of BGG. I hope you will know how to retrieve it. You must take this Reef Encounter boardgame and safely deliver to my reef. This is our most desperate hour. Help me, Raiko! You're my only hope!

The second game - Metropolys Game has interesting biding mechanism, I also like the artwork and bits. It is rather unique game which I would love to play it.

Thanks Raiko for opportunity and Happy Birthday to Agnes! Have fun!

Everything between now and the next game is just killing time. Matchstickman. True, so very true.

First, congratulations on becoming Geek of the Week!

A very generous offer you made.

Well, my first choice is Tobago. I am a sucker for cool bits. This game screams, "Cool Bits!"

My second choice is Chicago Express; a wonderful, luckless game (not that I'll ever win a game, but I do love it.)
