3rd. Price: Bonus winner

Well, this one was the hardest one for me. I had 13 entries chosen and I had this secret thing in my mind I used to search for the third winner.
I looked for three things:
1) Congrats to me and Agnes
2) Correct entry
3) Great reasoning or story

I had some trouble of deciding here, because there were so many good ones, so I was able to choose 3 best ones and from them I randomly draw the winner. I'm sorry, I'm weak, I wish I could give you all something great.

So, the winner:

As for the price, I thought here many things, but this one is like the third price, so I will make it 15$ game winner choosing, so choose well.

I hope there is no hard feelings from all the rest participants.
I can tell you that this is not my last give away, so be on the alert.

I hope all the winner now can help me to get their games as cheap as possible, somewhere near them would be best.

THANK YOU ALL FOR TAKING PART IN THIS!

Hello, hello to all.

I wasn't planning to give away any games again any time soon, because I just had one give away after I got the Love Spreader award, but now I got another award - Geek Of The Week.
And to celebrate this I decided to give away 3 games to random user here on BGG.

Las time I had 5 items I chose random, but this I thought we could do something little more different. These games I offered last time might not be what you want, so this time we do the following:

First you could thumb this list to keep this on the first page as long as possible.
Then you add here geek list item with the name of the game you wish to have. Only rule is that the game should cost less than 60$ (because I will pay the shipping too). Then write short about why you want this game. This might be just few words, but I would love to read them all. And to the end add a second game you would like, if for some reason your first choice wasn't picked as winner. I will make the first item as example for you all anyways.
The second game you add should be valued less than 30$ (again, I will pay for shipping)

Drawing: I will draw this item on the 5th of September, because this is Agnes's birthday (user LilyGirl). Drawing will be easy - use random number generator to pick two users.
1st. winner will get the game he/she listed as item.
2nd. winner will get the game he/she wrote as second choice.

Bonuses: This wouldn't be as fun without bonuses. Same bonus as last time - for every 0.5 tip to this geek list you will be added to the draw one additional time.

Bonus 2:
Who will write me best reason/story/words why he/she wants the main listed game and for some reason don't win, will get something special from me. Maybe something off her/his wish list as third winner.

Things to remember:

1. Recommend this list.
2. Add item with game in 60$ dollars, write short reason and then add second game under 30$
3. You can get additional bonus for 0.5 for tipping the list.
4. Check back with the list around 5th of September, Agnes's birthday.

Good luck.

PS! Edit: Everyone check your entries. Check that games are cheaper than the numbers I wrote before. If it is more expensive, I hope you have solution written there (like you are willing to pay for shipping), because I will not accept the offer to pay the difference to me, because the shipping is more expensive for larger and more expensive games. You can offer to pay for shipping.
Also check that you have selected only one game for 60 and 30 dollars, so total of 2 games. I will not accept a list of games to choose from. Choose now or later I will draw your name and you have there a large number of games, I will draw another winner.
Also everyone who has entered their wishes as comments, make them as geeklist items as well.
Drawing will be later today, Sunday the 5th...

Why? - This game has come into my attention a lot of times. It costs so much here in Estonia, but though BGG marketplace it is much cheaper. I have read the positive thing said about this game and I think that I would be a great addition to my collection to my board gaming family.

The second game - 1960: The Making of the President

Second game: This is what I'm really keen on. Why? because I can't get it (new) in the UK, because my dad grew up in Kenya, and because I like fun games with two

Good luck everyone!!

Why? Because I need games that the new wife actually wants to play. She's a sucker for theme, and she loves the idea of hunting for Dracula. This would go over unbelievably well.

If not this, then I could always go for more Thunderstone! A far better game than Dominion, IMO. Thunderstone: Wrath of the Elements

Wow what a generous offer - very nice of you - again!

Well the choices are difficult. I'm going to go with a sci-fi theme here. There are so many sci-fi games and I've played so few of them even though I love sci-fi (as can be seen here and here) .

1st game:

Space Dealer. Why? It has a been around and while and has a great reputation as an excellent sci-fi game. I'm not sure what to add accept - just read this summary from the game page - how good does this sound!

"This game is played in real time to a 30 minute soundtrack (or timer) with all players playing simultaneously. Players start at their own planet with a power generator and a mine. They race to generate goods and deliver them to each other (earning VP for both the player and the recipient) or to the neutral planets. They can also do research to improve their abilities, and bring new cards into play. Everything, from generating goods, to moving ships, to playing new cards, requires at least 1 flip of a timer. The catch is that each player only has 2 timers! At the start it seems like you have all the time in the world; very soon, though, it becomes a frantic race to make as many deliveries as possible!"

2nd game:

Terra Prime. Why? Well it looks to be alot of fun - and that's what gaming's about right? This is pure sci-fi euro gaming. It is Seth Jaffees first sci-fi game and his most successful to date. It also features art by the illustrious Josh Cappel and looks to have great bits.

First reason, it is a great game. Everyone gets a kick out of playing it.

Second and better reason, the designer Stefan Pietraszak (user Flyspeck23) is a great guy, who put a lot of money and time in producing his own dream game. He has a lot of copies sitting in his appartment and other places, every sold game helps him a lot. This game needs to be more popular.
So i try to win this game here in this great geeklist and then send it to some lucky guy, who thumbed this entry. This is an additional chance to win a free game for everyone who thumbs this entry.

You can win this great game.

Thanks for doing this, what a lovely and generous idea !

Here we go . . .

First Game
Wits & Wagers

WHY ?
Because I desperately need a game to convince my fellow humans which surround and depress me day by day (girlfriend, flatmates, parents, delivery men) that gaming can actually be fun and is not just about little trains going all over the place or building farms.

Second Game
Tobago
Unfortunately, I am too much of a wimp to travel to a real jungle a hunt for treasure and strolling around in the local forests is just not the same. Thus, I need a game to satisfy my itch to go treasure hunting just like Indy.

Good luck everyone!
HX

PS.: I dont mind (if I win that is) if you'd buy 2nd hand copies if that makes it cheaper, a game is a game.

Why? I have lots of the top rated wargames, but not the number 1. I recently updated the VASSAL module for the 2nd edition of this game, and then played my first game by email. I lost by 3VP to the US player after 76 days, but I would still love to have this game. I'm sure I could get my buddy to play it with me, perhaps even convince the wife once (who knows, maybe it sparks).

2nd choice Vikings - I played this game a few times a long time ago, and really liked it. I kept telling people, "Vikings is a fun game if you're looking for a game to buy", but never actually got around to buying it myself.

Why?

I've had a life-long obsession with zombies. For as long as I can remember, even as a little child, horror movies were my favourites. I'd watch them on my own TV when my parents had gone to sleep. I'd read horror novels as soon as I started to read. When I first saw a movie with zombies in it, I was hooked.

Recently, I read the book World War Z by Max Brooks. I thought that this book would make a terrific board game. And then I read about this game. This game IS the board game I was going to make, based off World War Z, pretty much. Only problem is... my FLGS can NOT get a copy of this to sell me. Gah!

Second: Descent: Journeys in the Dark

Why Tahuantinsuyu? Because it looks cool, and it's never available when I want to order multiple games at a time.

Alternately, Die Dolmengötter also looks cool (available for $30 or less in Germany; Dominion: Prosperity if that doesn't work shipping-wise).

I can supply shipping addresses in either the US, Canada, or Israel.

Why? It's highly rated and playable solo.

Second game - Red November. I haven't tried a real cooperative game and I would love to.

Why?: Once there was a man who loved fantasy themes, he read novel after novel, soon his enjoyment in fantasy and reading in general began to dwindle and waver. He decided he would try one last series after getting a glowing recommendation from an online friend.

Moments after cracking the book the man thought 'This is the most boring thing I've ever read!' but decided to keep reading. Six hours later the man closed the book having read the last page, eager to start the second book that sat right beside him.

That man was me, and that book was A Game of Thrones, it rekindled my love of fantasy and to this day is one of my favorite books of all time. When I heard FFG would be bringing out this new fangled thing called an LCG themed after my favorite series I was ecstatic. After all my group had been hooked on multiple CCGs in the past and we all loved card games.

Unfortunately I found my group not so enthusiastic, they called it a generic setting and refused to look into anything about the game beyond that.

Flash forward and I've hooked several of those same people on the series, and they regret ever denouncing it, so what better time than now to pick up such a great card game?

Second Choice: Summoner Wars, As I mentioned previously I like fantasy, I like card games. What I didn't mention is I love miniature wargames and abstracts. Summoner Wars seems to tie this all into one elegant bundle. With all the rave reviews I can't help but be excited to try out this gem of a game. Preferably with the Elves vs. Orcs set, I can't help but like elves, no matter how much hate people give them.

1: Small World. Maybe with expansions but it's great without them as well. Quite probably I won't buy this game as it would be hard to explain my wife why I bought a game for us that's about fantasy races battling - but if I won the game that would be a different case. Maybe she would even be willing to try it! And if she did I expect she could like it too.

2: Lord of the Rings: Friends & Foes. An expansion I'd love to try. Or if it's OOP, then Genesis which is similar to some games I have so quite probably I could not explain why I bought it... although I would like to have it at home.

1st option: Snow Tails. This could be the first racing game in my collection. I prefer it to Formula D because it does not use dices. I had a great time playing it the first time (ok, that was also because I won!).

2nd option: To Court The King. I have tried (really hard) to get this game, but it is impossible here in Spain
