This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty but as always: add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad™ and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.
The Weekly Thrift List Wayback Machine The Grand Vizier is maintaining a list of all the weekly thrift lists through time, and will be adding stats and interesting tidbits for each week. Your Thrift Store Bargain Finds Through Time

Maybe its the season, but this decidedly low budget game is selling very well on ebay right now. Almost didn't give it a second glance, glad I did. Possibly complete although there's no parts list to verify. There is some decayed rubber band residue on a few cards but it is otherwise in good shape. $1.50 at local thrift
Grabbed this one off the shelf at the Brockville, ON, Goodwill because I'd heard that it has some value on e-Bay, but because of the long line-ups (it was 50% off day) I didn't check the contents. It did rattle nicely.
But when I got it home it had 100% of the cards, 100% of the tokens, and no board. Dang.
So I got some tokens for $1.50. Can always use more tokens!
$2(US) at the Goodwill Liquidation Sales Center (which is different -- physically and philosophically -- than the Goodwill Clearance Center, which Albert and I refer to as the GW outlet. I'm not sure what the mission statement of the Liquidation Center is).
May I pass along my congratulations for your great interdimensional breakthrough. I am sure, in the miserable annals of the Earth, you will be duly enshrined. -- Lord John Whorfin
In shrink. Jumbo 'mini' version (that sounds funny). No image in the database - so I'll add it to gain some much needed GG.
My wife's Uncle LOVES this game, and we don't own a copy. I'd sort of, kind of been on the lookout for a version with wood or bakelite tiles or something - but the compact nature of this version won me over.
with the River complete, great condition (though I really wish the stores here would stop using the stringy packing tape to close boxes (thought I appreciate it when the pieces are all still there)). $0.99 at EcoThrift in Vallejo, CA
