As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you, now remain in my love. You did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit, fruit that will last. -- Jesus Christ
This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty but as always: add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad™ and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.

More vintagy goodness, the 1961 edition this time. Cards are crisp and shiny. Includes the diecut insert thing that is unpunched, which seems to be made to hold the cards in the box. I have never seen it before:
I obtained a beautiful copy of this monster wargame. The box is in better shape than my personal copy, and 7 of the 11 countersheets remain entirely unpunched (1 has a small number of counters punched out [less than 20% of the sheet], and another has a dozen that have fallen out). All punched counters (all German units) have been clipped.
It even includes 4 errata counters that had been published and printed separately.
$100, off Craigslist. Surprising, as the ad had been up for about a month before I responded to it. It allowed me to slightly overpay for a couple other games the seller had, just to put them into my collection.
With Rodger MacGowan attending Orccon next weekend, I'll have him sign the box cover before I move it along.
I just haven't had a chance to go thrifting lately, but I took the time to stop by GW on the way home from work the other morning and this was sitting on the shelf waiting for me. Unsure if it's complete. 50 cents.
I've heard tell this is a game by the Knizia guy everyone is always talking about. It's my first, so I'm looking forward to seeing if it lives up to the hype.
Same time and place as above. Upon opening it looks like everything is there but I haven't had time to do a thorough inspection. I already have a copy but this one has the instructions which my other doesn't. So this will be a parts copy. 50 cents at GW.
