This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty but as always: add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad™ and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.

$1.99 at GW. First copy I've seen of the original edition, which is the main reason I picked it up. It's closer to complete than I would have thought, judging by how rough the box is. Oddly enough, a short time later, I saw my first copy of the 1987 edition (which may still be at the Cornell Road GW, if anyone's interested).
Earlier this week, I responded to a local Craigslist ad (local -> 45 minute drive away). So today was the day to pick up the lot of games from that deal, but since I had an extended drive, I figured I'd stop at some thrift stores along the way.
The itinerary was as follows: Local thrift Goodwill Craigslist pickup St Vincent Value Village
$2 - First up at the local thrift was this game, which I figured would be good for helping my kids practice right from left.
Ok, I'm going out of order here so I can finish of the thrift finds and finish with the Craigslist stuff.
$1.99 - After filling my trunk with games from Craigslist I stopped at St Vincent de Paul where I found this Gamewright. Don't know a thing about it, but figured it'll fit in with all the other Gamewrights I already own.
$0.69 - Finally, my last thrift find of the day (nothing was found at Value Village), I found a very beat up copy of this. Some parts were missing, but the cards were there along with a die and 2 sand timers.
Now on to the juicy part of my haul today. I responded to an ad for "23 strategy games" which were all adult owned. The seller wanted $5 for each game, however since I would need to make a 45 minute drive each way (not counting thrift stops), I wanted to make sure I got EVERYTHING she was selling... So instead of offering the price of $115 which would be the total for all the games, I offered $150 (which raises the price up to about $6.50 per game. She liked my offer, so today was the day to pick it up. Once I got there, she said she found another game, and if I didn't mind, she'd toss it in as well. Duh!? So now, I ended up with 24 games for $150 ($6.25/game).
EDIT: Knowing nothing about this game, I know it can be expanded on, however there were what appears to be 2.5 copies of the game in the box. Only 2 decks of cards, and 2 instruction manuals, but everything else appeared to be there 3 times.
