This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty but as always: add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad™ and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.

I have often despaired over the dearth of games found at my local GW store. This past weekend, I discovered why. I found out that my local GW store is a Goodwill OUTLET...all the stuff that doesn't sell at OTHER Goodwill stores gets shipped to mine! The selection is literally the dregs of the dregs.
However, this weekend, there was a speck of success. This location had some wrapped packs of Star Wars Pocketmodels. No outer packaging, no rules, and no trading cards. But the constructable ships were still sealed, and with the micro dice.
With far too many of these already, I looked through the 5 packs they had and only took the two with the gold (rare) ship panels. After getting home, it turns out that I even needed one of those two for my collection.
The only good thing about being at a Goodwill outlet store...their prices are even more ridiculous. I got these, plus a hardbound, First Printing of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (with dust jacket), for $1.00.
$1.99 @ GW. Always check the puzzle sections! Went to GW to look for a computer cable, and of course checked the games as well. Nothing much, this store hasn't turned over much in the last month... Then I glance in the puzzles and find this variation of Bazaar! Pretty cool, everything is like new, hasn't been played much if at all.
Found only one this time. Due to my glut of tiles (over 2000) I am tightening my standards. Max I will pay now is $1.99 instead of $2.99 The last set I had sold only for $11.50 or so. This one was complete.
The old dice bag was getting a little thin and I also needed a couple of four sided one. Dicecapades? Why yes even if it only has 118 dice instead of the 133. Grabbed the dice, the pawns, the pencils and the timer and tossed the rest. Does this count as Ghouling as 12 of the brown six sided are destined for A & A Europe?
Bookshelf edition. Wooden case, wooden dice, metal ships, glass beads, velvet pouches and a cloth map board. Complete and in excellent condition. Incredible bits on this one. $2.00 at Family Thrift in Phoenix.
