This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty but as always: add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad™ and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.

£2.50 Cancer Research Beeston. Thought this had some value, but last 3 auctions went at £2.99£10and £25 so not sure what it's worth. The minis?(more like maxis) in this are awesome. 6cm tall, hand painted and featuring 12 hammer monsters and heros so I have Dracula,Van Helsing, werewolf,Frankensteins monster, zombie, mummy and half a dozen more
Version shown, in plastic bag. Looks unplayed. I wonder if it was from the same donation that netted me the wargames a few weeks ago? I thought it might be the first time it made an appearance on the thrift lists, but looks like the second. The first time was only a few months ago.
My next stop was Eco Thrift where I came back to get a game they had yesterday but didn't price it, so I came back and they said I could have it for .99, so I took it, it's unpunched and in great shape.
Next stop was Goodwill in Roseville, where I got a few things, I found another Last Chance as the first one I had didn't have the dice rolling tray or the dice, this one is 100% complete though including the instructions so I was happy to snag it for 1.99.
I didn't get the opportunity to look inside this one but I knew the box cover was used for the wooden pieces but also for plastic pieces, pending on the print run. So I took a chance and got this bundle for $2 but it turns out to just be plastic pieces.
Was up at the VV in Edmonds, and spotted one of these. I've gotten a couple of others in the past, but those have all been in too good a shape, or shrinked, to actually play. So this one, which has some dishing and box damage, might be one I would consider playing. $3.27.
Next stop was a hole in the wall thrift store, on the way home, they had a half off sale so I picked up a few games. The first being Facts In Five, so now 3 3M games in 2 days, nice. I think it's missing some pieces but it was 1.50.
There's a long story involved in getting this one - involving at least a half dozen kids running wild through the Salvation Army, ripping games off the racks, screaming, yelling...ugh! But it's too depressing as I found game after game that had been pried open with the neat bits missing. Now, I don't know that they were actually the ones that took them, but the end result was I wasn't about to buy any of those games.
This was far enough back on the shelf that they couldn't reach it. It's the 60th Anniversary collector's edition - with the "special metallic jokers". Just $1.54 and not only were the bits intact, they were still in shrink.
A couple of months ago I found the 3M version of Backgammon in amazing condition with some of the pieces still in unopened bags (but missing 2 dice). Someone from the Milwaukee guild was looking for that to finish their collection and I traded it away.
Yesterday, I found another one - for just $1.54 in nearly the same condition. Pieces had all been taken out of the bags, but they were all there, including all of the dice. (I actually found this one lying on the window sill - obviously snatched down by the little terrorists, but not destroyed)
I think I bought the wrong one, lol jk. I knew this wasn't the other one, but it was only 1.50 and I'm not sure if any parts are missing besides the instructions, I'm going to need a parts list to verify.
