I know that this is an oft-discussed topic... but the recently released Olympos art made me wonder about where people draw the line for "offensive" game art.

This list is intended to include any sort of controversial game art, be it nudity or stereotypical, or something else entirely.

Feel free to add more games, but please use pictures of the art in question - so that people know what they're discussing. (And please add a copy of the poll!)

EDIT: Instructions on adding a poll can be found here, and the poll text is below:

Does this Art offend you?
Yes
No

What action(s) would you take to make this Art acceptable?
No action needed.
I would not purchase this game because of the offensive art.
I would alter the art in question so that it does not offend. (For example, marking cards to cover nakedness.)
I would replace the component that has the art in question, and remove the original from the game. (This does not damage the game, but also removes the offense for me.)
I would reserve this game for appropriate audiences. (For example, keeping a game away from small children.)
Other, please explain in the a comment below.

This one is kind of tongue-in-cheek. If you look really closely NW of Copenhagen, you will see the famous Little Mermaid statue that is (appropriately) topless.

If you look at the Missing Link card (next to last card on next to bottom row) you can see its male anatomy is covered by a black box (this is the English edition). I couldn't find a picture, but the German edition does not have this black box. Ironically, in the English edition, if you look at the card at an angle, the original art can be seen through the black box.

29. Board Game: Groo: The Game [Average Rating:6.26 Overall Rank:2399]
Evidently there is a lot to be offended by here, as many of the sets I saw for sale had comments about how the owner "had to" use a black marker to cover up parts of the art so the game could be played.

Because female characters like this are showing too much?

Or too much "man-boob"?

Or the fact that Groo evidently wears no pants?

Note that this is the same art, by the same artist, that has been in the Groo comic books since the beginning.

It seems card games tend to show us a bit more ... stuff than other games do. Try for example Guardians. Its a very well illustrated card-game but it has some images that some people might find offensive :

I will be darn surprised if someone isn't offended at this one.
Non humans of various sorts and all three genders, male, female, hermaphrodite, enjoying eachothers company in some rather heady ways. And not wearing much at all usually!

aheh. Its actually an ok game akin to XXXenophile. Sadly hampered by being a CCG.

Game based on the the old Japanese manga and tv show. Hayao Miyazaki has been involved at times with the tv shows and movies. Some of the stuff like the tv shows were pretty innocent kid fare, but some of the later manga were straightup porn.

A couple of those above cards (the topless one for sure) are from the expansion.

Lots of nudity in this one considering the setting and some of the races involved. Bemusingly the hedonistic Basti females tend to wear more clothes than the males...

An example of one Khemru priestess mini. The guys go bare chested alot too.
