This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty but as always: add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad™ and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.
The Weekly Thrift List Wayback Machine The Grand Vizier is maintaining a list of all the weekly thrift lists through time, and will be adding stats and interesting tidbits for each week. Your Thrift Store Bargain Finds Through Time

This also complete & Castle Risk cards still sealed...at first I was bummed when I opened it & only saw the regular Risk cards. I looked under the cardboard insert & was surprised to see the still sealed Castle cards...$3.99 Savers
This is my third copy of this one. I wasn't going to grab it, but when I looked in the box, it became obvious that the previous owners took pretty good care of it and my other copies need a part here and there. As such I decided to part with $4.99 for it at Savers.
Bought it knowing it was missing two tiles. Used the BGG gallery to determine that they were two 90 angle ones. I've already printed off pictures of those tiles that are the correct size, and I'm ready to mount them to sturdy cardboard tomorrow. The boys are excited as they were eyeing the full-sized Labyrinths at the FLGS and this will give them a chance to try out the mechanic on a simpler scale.
Looks complete and mostly unpunched (some of the chits have fallen off the punch boards over the years from the looks of things). I'm not into war games, but hopefully someone here or elsewhere will give it a good home in exchange for something cool. $3.99 at Savers.
My job transferred us from Wyoming to California this summer (VERY excited about that move). I have been extremely busy with the move and new aspect of the job, but I did manage to sneak in a visit to the Santa Cruz SA today and found a couple copies of this game still in shrink for $5.00.
Quiet start to the week for me, but that changed today.
First up was a game called I Spy which doesn't seem to be amongst the many games of that name already in the database. Unfortunately, the rules are missing so I hope I can get a copy from the maker so it can be added.
In a bag with video games (already posted on that list) at Maj-R thrift, $2.99 for the bag
And finally for today, I had high hopes for this, all the pieces were bagged. Got through three colors and everything was there. Sure enough, one piece missing on the last color I counted, green. Will check my incomplete copy and hopefully that isn't missing the same one.
